Wow Chinese news stating true facts, now that must be a first ????
Amazing that Kinarree and Crystal Gogo were both packed yesterday. I guess the people here don't care about the beach

It looks increasingly like I will face the same dilemma early next year too, and I have a 15 month old daughter to care for. I will have to go to settle my pension claim I think, but it looks like it will be very difficult to return.
Why? You can come back easily. You have a dependent. Many people back already in this situation.

I'll probably be able to renew my retirement status this December, but if at some point next year I'm faced with the choice of staying in-country indefinitely or leaving and staying out indefinitely or forever, I'll crack and leave.
Good. I really hope people like you leave ASAP.

More garbage again by Pattaya Bashing Thai Visa
How can I sit in traffic today?
How can the restaurant I had lunch in be busy?
Just because Beer Bars are quiet it doesn't mean the town is dead. It just means that Thai's don't go to the bars and most of the long term residents don't go to Walking Street or Crappy Beer Bars at the other end of the scale.
Between, Crystal Agogo, Queen, Upstairs at Kink, Pin-Up and Windmill were all packed last night.
But Thai Visa knows best.

Hate to point out their incompetence, but the fact he had been in broad daylight, even appearing on the TV shows all 12 probably watched at some point, for years before they caught up with him, kind of proves the point.
He is a villain. He's been illegally milking the system for years. He should have been jailed first

There are still tourists here and there are plenty desperate to get here.
If you want tourists instantly and a lot more than previously, grant casino licences. Easy. Can I have your job now?

Once again an interviewees comments taken out of context for a dramatic headline. He clearly states "Most" won't open. Why is that word left out of the headline?
Residents here don't require all the bars open. Tourists (when they can come) don't require all the bars opening. The fact that they are opening is a GOOD thing.
The two landlords of my favourite bars have already confirmed that they will be opening, contrary to the title of this article.
Please note this article is targeted at patrons of bars rather than employees and employers, hence the reason for the comment.

I would like to know what went wrong and why the development of peoples houses did not follow to the end. As him having nominees I see no real big deal in that.
I'd suggest driving to Hua Hin to speak to the DSI then. I don't think anyone here will have the answer.
Be great to know the results.

And third, if you want pristine, and clean beaches, try these locales. I somehow do not think the world class description he uses for Pattaya's beaches, can quite match up to the environmental pride shown in some of these areas.
Tikehau Island, French Polynesia. Can't decide whether you want white- or pink-sand beaches? ...
Dreamland Beach, Bali. ...
Fulhadhoo, Goidhoo, Maldives
Ypao Beach, Guam
Seagrass Bay, Laucala Island, Fiji
Matira Beach, Bora Bora
Ipil Beach, El Nido, Palawan Island, Philippines
Bathsheba Beach, Barbados. ...
Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. ...
Horseshoe Bay, Bermuda. ...
Harbour Island, Bahamas. ...
Tropic of Cancer Beach, Little Exuma, Bahamas
Parrot Cay, Turks and Caicos
Lindquist Beach, St. Thomas
Palm Beach, Aruba
Santa Maria Beach, Los Cabos
Blue Beach (La Chiva), Vieques, Puerto Rico. ...
Trunk Bay, St. John, USVI.
Devil's Bay, Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
Maipio Valley Beach, Big Island, Hawaii
Honopu Beach Kauai, Hawaii
Any mention of any beach on the Gulf Coast of Thailand, within the same sentence as paradise, is mere hyperbole, and an outright lie. In my opinion the best beaches on the Gulf lie between Pranburi and Ban Saphan Noi. There are a few nice beaches on Koh Phangan too. But in Pattaya? A total fabrication. Pure fiction. Political and tourist related nonsense. Let's get real. Who are these people anyway?
Wow. You must have a lot of time on your hands. But not really enough to actually read the article?
I'm am looking for the part where you say the author refers to a world class beach? Could you point it out?
He's saying it looks better than he's seen it. The beach has been extended. The sea and sand are cleaner. There are less hawkers and traffic..
I can't find the word Paradise either. Maybe you google searching for best beaches blinded you?

Good. Mind the door doesn't hit you in the a$$ on the way out.
Do you honestly think anyone cares what you do?

Hmm - 3 doors down from me on Cosy Beach there is a nice new lambourghini parked in the drive. In the garage of my condo a Porsche Cayenne Turbo and Merc 63 AMG.
No idea where in Pattaya you live I'm guessing Nirun condo, that's if you even live here at all?

You could offer the members of thai visa free gold and they'd still find a way to moan. I have no idea how they go through life with such a cynical attitude. People often ask me what I don't like about Pattaya and it's generally just the people moaning about how things are changing, how the bar fines have gone up and they are being ignored by bar girls looking at their phones.
If you drive around Bali hai in the evening there are some spectacular sunsets, and great views across to Wongamat. With the right planning fingers crossed it brings in high end tourists and prices out the two bit retirees whose sole aim in life is to find beer 5 baht cheaper, moaning in their stupid vests.

How about a 3000 baht food card. Or a 200 baht diaper card. No one wants to go and sit on the beach at a time like this. For most people their whole career has been turned to ashes in front of their eyes.
I do. Looking forward to going to the Islands, especially if we get a 3000 discount by booking via my wife

Why didn't you report him? Why do you think he had the ability not to fit in with the rules that the rest of us use?

Some of the most horrible, self-defeatist, negative people in the world hide in this forum. Many with thousands of posts. Trying to mask the misery of their lives with poisonous jibes and pathetic attempts at humour.
I'd love to watch him do a 3 round exhibition. Add to the card some Asian professional fighters making their way up the respective ladders, maybe even the odd top-tier Muay Thai fight. It would be a fantastic evening of pugilistic action that we don't get regularly in Thailand.

80 years old should have been sent on his way with a warning for standing near the beach with friends.
Ripped for 50k by a bail guy, a future court date and and passport retained.
Ripped by the escort home just extortion at its finest.
Have they no common sense or shame? ..... guess the redundant jet ski scam is leaving empty coffers that need replenishing!
One for the international press I think to see Thailands finest at work!!
The warning is on the sign. The warnings were in the press on a daily basis. He's not a child. He shouldn't have been there.
