As many as 3,000 Thai minors catching COVID-19 every day
Anton9 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I am in the same situation but I live in a condo so no home gym for me. It's been months already, I've been going to the gym 4/5 times a week for 15 years and it's making me depressed not being able to do it. Having gf/wife working at home being around 24/7 is another huge problem, especially if you stay in a 60 sqm apartment. -
Thailand projects doubling of daily coronavirus infections next month
Anton9 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Impossible to get 50000/day. They are testing now 50000 people/day with 40% positivity rate. If they start testing 200/300 k /day the number of positive would be already much higher than that. -
How many people are having their life destroyed by the lockdowns and overraction to this crisis in Thailand? Covid related deaths are not the only factor to evaluate a country response. Otherwise you can just lock people in their house forever, maybe you will get zero covid deaths that way. Sweden has a much older population than Thailand and most deaths are elderly people. Also,Thailand just started to experience the worst of the pandemic so the death count will keep rising.

Covid is going to spread regardless of restricions. The challenge is opening up to world while minimiIng the impact. It's obvious at this point lockdowns and all the restricions are just prolonging the inevitable. So a country who is able to mange the situation without curfews and locking their citizens inside their house is doing well. That is my opinion of course.

Of course they are, likely 10 times more. 67% of India population has covid antibodies in the blood. -
Domestic tourism urged to be promoted as backup plan to overseas arrivals
Anton9 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If by the end of the month there will not be a relaxation of the restrictions(at least opening of shops/restaurants and lifting of domestic travel restrictions)Thailand is doomed. I am just waiting september to decide if it's time to leave this place for a while. -
Much better for me and for most people I talk to. Guess your thai friends are enjoying the post coup era.

U.S. CDC urges avoiding travel to Thailand over COVID-19
Anton9 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Why coming to Phuket with all the crazy restrictions, compulsory mask wearing, endless covid tests, death night life and so on when you can go to many other countries with the only request of being vaccinated?
