The rest of the world are trying to cut back on the use of salt to help people live a "healthier" life, whatever that may be, yet Thailand wants to promote people increase their intake especially of such a poor quality ingredient because it is full of unknown chemicals.  Even the method of collecting the salt appears as antiquated and historical as the comments made by Alongkorn Ponlaboot, adviser to the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives.  Does the salt undergo further cleansing before it is packaged and distributed?

They also should make them auto cleaning, it's a real pain to get the cleaning company to show up in time...i wished the aircons had disposable filters which we could change ourselves.

You can buy after market filters, or do what I do.

Showed the wife how to clean the a/c now she does it.

A simple well done after and its time to drink, if I could get some

Let's be fair here, the lockdown and shutdown of Airports in many countries and in Thailand was announced in advance and we all knew it was coming.I got out in good time and so did some of my friends even though they own properties in Samui.

Those who elected to remain have no excuse whatsoever to complain or ask for a free Lodging etc.. Their respective embassies should get involved immediately.

    Embassies helping out?

    Good luck with that.

Once here they don't want to know you

Freezing doesn't stop food from eventually going off, it just slows it down, something a lot of people forget.  Food left in a freezer too long will inevitably deteriorate. I have a minimal amount kept in mine and nothing over 6 months old.

Keep food for 6 months, you are lucky.

My BIL can smell frozen food, I fill the freezer, he shows up, along with assorted other hangers on

when we got our new nissan 2 years ago we traded in the vios(4 years old), the car dealer they used told us that because it was a manual it would be harder to sell as thais like automatics so price was not as good as what I wanted. Nissan offered us extras to make it up though so we eventually agreed and handed over the keys, signed the contract  and got our new keys, thing is there was a young couple also in the show room and they then handed the dealer a wad of cash and he gave them our keys, he had already sold the vios to them so had blatantly lied to us about the reason to keep the price low, was not impressed, just beware that they may try to rip you off with the price they offer.

I cant believe a car salesman would lie to his customers  :shock1:
