I don't belong to the camp claiming it's no worse then flu but I do believe that the figure is closer to 1%, at least that's the reasonable estimation.
W.H.O director-general briefing March 3rd 2020 Coronavirus 19 .....seasonal flu usually results in fewer than 1% deaths globally Covid 19 has resulted in 3.4% deaths his words

For all you expert wannabe health officials out there saying this is no worse than normal flu ...Last year less than 1% of flu cases resulted in death this virus has a mortality rate of 3.4% so far.

There seems to be a lot of evidence that suggest that most people in affected cities fall in one of the following categories. 1) Had it, were a-symptomatic and recovered 2) Had it, felt sick for a week or two and recovered and most likely immune now or 3) Got infected, had some underlying condition and did not survive.
I think most countries over-reacted and focused on the wrong stuff. Resources should be directed to quarantining the weak and elderly, and educate the larger population about preventative measures. Humans for the most part are able to fight off viruses like this. Getting people scared causes exactly what we want to prevent, namely everyone with a cough running to a hospital, and in the process over-burden the health system and get exposed to people that are really infected.
Now that theres a lot of data available, the virus seems to be not that much worse than the flu, and certainly much less dangerous than many of the things we do as part of our daily lives. It would be interesting to know how many people died as a result of the measures we took to stop the spread.
Get real ...data available ..not much worse than flu... data>>> 2019-2019 flu deaths 34,200 so far Coronavirus 19 360,000 get a grip man

Totally agree they should be fined a lot more. Total ignorance to hold up an emergency vehicle.
On the other hand, there are plenty of clowns driving police or emergency vehicles with their lights flashing for apparently no reason and slowly cruising along holding traffic up. If they stuck to only using their lights for a real emergency more people may take them seriously.
Siren on though surely the clincher.

given that 80% of other Thai drivers would have done the same, it would be unfair to give a harsher punishment to this one
If any extra punishment is needed, it's for lying that they didn't hear the ambulence, but then if you start punishing Thai people for lying...
Huh? No punishment because other drivers would do the same .Punish them also if caught on Ambulance video cam number plate taken huge fine maybe then they will learn.Cant just let off because other drivers do same that’s plain stupid.

Yeah, 3 months before applying and 2 months after the renewal is approved. Then you can take up to half of it out so long as you replace it a couple months later again.
I just leave the entire amount in there. I am renewing my non o married to Thai visa soon was told by immigration I have to apply for a completely new visa because my last visa was done in another country. As it is a new visa IO told me my money in bank only had to be in 2 months first time then 3 months every renewal. A yearly renewal not 90 day reporting. 800k in bank. -

As noted, I provided a letter from the bank as well as photocopies of my bankbook.
I noticed when he looked at the bankbook page, he highlighted the current balance as well as the balance from 3 lines up (which I think was the update I did just before I did my extension last year). Probably did that to highlight that I'd kept the "minimum balance" in the account all year I suppose.Pretty sure you don’t have to have the whole balance for 1 year ..Just the last 3 months if renewing. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Am interested to know.

Not so much who Pavlov but what. The virus came from nature, that it may have originated in China is somewhat irrelevant for those of us without an agenda. Society didn't try to attribute the influenza, smallpox, ebola, cholera or mumps to any single country, it seems odd we now wish to attribute blame for covid19 to China. Maybe it came about as the result of poor hygienic practices but at this stage we can't be certain, if you know these things you must alert the WHO, they're keen to know. Woof.

Fact? Backed up by what facts are proven points your post is just your opinion of a bus ride.

Every bus I've been on has been full. Doubtless others will chime in with different experiences.
No way your opinion is the only one that counts.

This morning I did my 90 day report online. I received the approval notice within 90 minutes. I tried doing it using the app on my iPad but it would not work so I used my laptop running Windows. My browser is Microsoft Edge. I turned off my VPN and I use 3BB as my internet provider. With my laptop I had no problems.
Would setting VPN to Thailand work?
