If you have some degree of leverage, it’s not unusual. Diggs, Hill, Adams, they all wanted more and got moved. If you are a Niner fan, his behavior shouldn’t be surprising as he’s had problems with the team before.

I wouldn't say that it undermines the draft process but the last year is when they have bargaining power and as you well know, these guys have a finite time in the league and it's a violent sport. If I thought I was underpaid and risking going gaga in 20 years, I'd ask for a raise too. 

The US has also had some high inflation so that's eaten away some of his earnings, just like it has mine.

The NFL is making money hand over fist off these guys. They should be able to afford it.

I think it’s safe to say that this going to be one ugly election. Republican leaders have already chastised their House members about making racist remand sexist remarks and we’re not even past week one of her being the candidate.

That very few white guys are going to vote for Trump.

40% is a landslide. Over a large sample size, 40% is quite small. It is a lot more than what Republicans typically get from Black voters but if white men were still the only legal voters, it would be one of the worst defeats in history.

Since most people have self-selected their circle of friends and family in the US, it is overwhelmingly improbable that a Biden voter would have overwhelmingly Trump supporter acquaintances as you implied. That should be quite obvious if you’ve lived for any time in the US for the last 30 years or so.

Biden got 40% of the white male voter. Harris is likely going to  get a percentage more  like HClinton did, 35% but  lower.

Can La Harris get thru the next few weeks without a big boo-boo? (A cackle in the wrong place, crumbling before a policy onslaught from a hostile interviewer, doesn't perform well in the grand debate if there is one ... ). So far she's looking really good and ticking all the boxes - younger, energetic, coloured, female etc. She now needs a state governor (younger white male) to balance out the platform and I think she's looking good for a win in November.

I'd rather see a Hispanic. Trump was stealing Hispanic and Black men from Biden and hopefully this will reverse that and shore it up. Percentage-wise, very few white guys are gonna vote D.
