Beware Trump claiming 'widespread mail-in vote fraud' and ordering the seizure of the piled up ballots, thereby throwing into question the legitimacy of the election, no matter who leads in the count. He has already said the election should be delayed until COVID-19 has been brought under control and in-person balloting can be carried out. This would obviously be years down the road.
Attached image of post boxes being removed from city streets.
This along with the lackey Post Master General appointed by Trump will prove a very precarious situation.

When Thailand is home, you cant put a price on the return home to your house and family.
It's cost me with 10 large US to get home from Indonesia, as the embassy is not putting expats on the Repatriation flights at ALL and I will never go back. I'm half way through my ASQ and the food is great. 3 channels on tv, but this is easy. Get first free time tomorrow for 1hr outside...gives you something to look forward to. By the time I walk out I would have had 3 covid tests. Believe me looking at what happened in Australia regarding Hotels, Thailand are running this very seriously. I lost my job and was dumped in Jakarta on the 23rd June, and waited 9 weeks to get back with No TV. Could of gone to Australia, to return when....its closed.
9 weeks in Indo Hotels, Domestic flights, rapid test, covid test, food drinks. 70,000 baht +
Flight to KL 7500baht.
Private Jet from KL to BKK 200,000baht
ASQ 55,000 baht
Every man has his own reasons.
Yours sounds very expensive.

Once the covid19 pandemic is over & a vaccine is found I doubt very much if Thailand will be on many people's list of places to visit. It's had the world at it's feet for years as a tourist destination & ruined it over the past 15yrs. Looking for a quick fix to their woes is not the answer ......... once the pandemic is over all the famous places that brought millions of tourists to Thailand will be lost forever, some no longer exist ............... Khao San Road, Walking Street are classic examples, but there are many more. It may be seen as seedy in Pattaya by the world, but it was wild, fun & friendly ...... now it's boring & the atmosphere that once was has vanished from the streets ......... sad.
Walking Street was boring for the last 5 years already.

You are talking rubbish of course. Dropping the nuclear bombs on innocent civilians in no way stopped "an awful crime", on the contrary, it was itself an awful war crime.
And the only one who is denying a holocaust is of course you, in that you cheer lead the horrific burning alive of 120,000 Japanese women and children.
Stopped them dead in their tracks tho.....
Japanese soldiers were regarded as the most brutal occupiers and the FatBoy worked to make them surrender.

The culture and priorities have been wrong for a long time.
Abuse of the social programs and ridiculous health care costs
have all been festering up until now.
Anyone with half a brain can see how orchestrated much of this was.

Yes, I am starting to think this too. Though difficult to find a car with manual transmission locally. If there is an economic downturn that might change, though. And if not found locally then the issue becomes who would appraise it that I can trust; locally I have someone reliable but if I buy out of province I'd be taking pot luck on a mechanic to appraise it.
Anyhow for now I have widened my search to either a low mileage 2016+ used car or a new one. But not finding much in the way of used Honda Jazz with MT only a few years old.
Here is a good resource , but Thai ppl hardly maintain their car engines well unfortunately.

Yes I see now that they say only every 10,000 km. On my current care it always says every 3000 km. Or does frequency change as car ages?
It is over an hour drive there, plus waiting time, and a real hassle to get on the schedule. Ends up being pretty much a full day...compared to just pop down the road., leave of off the car & and walk home, taking maybe 20 minutes of my day only. And of course will cost 2-3 times as much.
New Honda's use synthetic oil which last much longer than what were motor oils from a few years back.
And you'd want a new car serviced by a Honda tec using Honda parts.

So you agree it was harassment.
Whatever your hypothetical time it was long enough to force the Iranian pilot to take sudden evasive action causing injury to passengers. By trivializing the actions of the US pilot, you are blaming the victim.
Can you imagine the furore if a Syrian or Iranian jet even for 5 seconds had invaded the airspace of USA or US ally Israel, and menaced a civilian aircraft.
But its OK by you because the USA can do no wrong when operating as uninvited self appointed air marshal 6,000 miles from its own backyard. Who's acting like a terrorist government?
LOL, hilarious.
