  1. There ya go................ The Times finally agrees with all the Thaivisa experts ???? Sorry about being TLR....... https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/banged-up-in-paradise-how-our-dream-holiday-to-thailand-ended-before-it-began-fttgqtmtr
  2. Local man has it sussed..... Alternative download as Torrent = Ch4.Unreported.World.2022.The.Crypto.Gold.Rush.1080p.HDTV.x265.AAC.MVGroup.org
  3. One of my favourites would have to be Khaow Pat Gai. (fried rice & chicken) It helps cure a hangover as well as being filling first thing in the morning.???? Watching it being cooked in a wok at a super-high-temp gives me that hygiene confidence. Also being a great fan of Thai chillies I cover the dish with the ubiquitous Prik Nam Pla. (chopped chillis in fish sauce) The spicy flavour on my tongue has a great reaction with hot black coffee. IMHO the best Pattaya street eats are next to where the night-life girls sleep.... you can enjoy eye candy for desert. ps this foodie thread post is not sponsored.
  4. Once again the website formally known as ThaiVisa continues to be complicit in reporting 'false news' Why no integrity? Are clicks more important? Lucky the website is free.
  5. Personally I prefer policewomen with natural beauty. How strange folks nowadays enjoy looking at digitally manufactured, filtered faces.
  6. Quantity versus Quality. Is this the message from the website formally known as ThaiVisa? I guess this latest immature fad is to highlight (reward ?) the prolific posters. Well, these habitual posters do nothing for the forums. They post and post and post and post. As if we can't live without their wee editorials ? In fact, when I see (yet again) their avatars horribilis, I just ignore the post/thread. Used to be that people posted hints, tips and even humour, and they would get a ' thank you'. Now we have baby facebook 'likes' emoticons and that cowardly, gringeworthy sour puss face. What does it even mean?? This web site is going downhill faster than a rabbit on a promise.
  7. On this forum there is also P4P meaning > paid for posting. I think most of us know the ones that post thousands and thousand of times b'cos they know absolutely everything. Also their posts don't get deleted.
  8. No sympathy for the pimps who pretend to be bar owners and are still paying rent etc to the Thais. The lack of punters (in their words) means it's all over now. How much you want for that pool table now? Have a nice high season. Schadenfreude baby.
  9. Apologies to you all for my post being so opaque. Travel from the UK to Thailand - enter on 1 month visa waver. Apply for 1 year extension based on retirement in Thailand Using 65k / month (instead of 800k). Being proactive, how many 65k's should I transfer and what documents relating to the money do I need to prepare before I leave the UK and apply in Thailand? ps I do realise your all very busy with Thai pass, ASQ, Insurance etc etc Thank you
  10. For many years I've used the 800k method to renew my annual 'retirement' visa. However I returned to the UK last year and took my 800k with me. Since then I now have two pensions paid monthly into the same UK bank account. Now being in the UK, I have time to prepare for my next 'retirement' visa using the 65k method. I believe the UK Embassy are not involved in any Thai Immigration matters. So, what would be the best way to set up proof of my income and it's source? Also do I need to send it into Thailand prior to the visa application?
  11. Are there any smokers? Trying to hook people? Are there any fat people ? Pushing junk food?
  12. If you've got a sense of humour, this is so hilarious because it's soooo bad in so many ways. https://youtu.be/9ObOJiZ_aIw Also check out the fish n chips review. (Warning he tries to taste foreign fish) ???? https://youtu.be/CxSgzbfA1dw
  13. Treated myself back in 1985 cost me 1500 gbp Still looks good. I wear it at those Thai events where bling is expected.
