Amazing! Thank you for your assistance!

Hello! I read through the above posting and just wanted to confirm that I understand what this means for my own situation.
I entered Thailand on March 21 on an METV that is valid until September 16. On May 19 I will have completed my first 60 days and will be due to extend my visa for another 30 days, and then on June 18th I will be due to do a border run since I intend to extend the METV as long as possible.
Given the current situation, the above post suggests that I do not need to go to immigration on May 19 to extend?
Does this mean I am in the clear until July 31, not needing to extend or do border-runs until then? Do you happen to know what I should do once the visa amnesty/extension has ended and I want to continue using my visa?
Thank you in advance for your time!
Best alternatives to stay after September 26
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

@ubonjoe or anyone else with ideas
Dear all,
As many are, I'm looking for a way to stay in Thailand beyond September 26.
I am currently residing in Thailand on an METV visa that will expire on September 15, just before the end of the current Visa Amnesty period. I would like to continue my stay in Thailand, as my partner teaches at a university here.
I have been offered a job teaching English at a local school, but am unable to change my Tourist Visa to a Work Visa, given that I would have to leave the country to do so, and most borders are currently closed.
Is there any way for me to change visa in-country?
Or is it possible to extend my tourist visa when amnesty ends?
Or could I convert my Tourist visa to a Non-Immigrant O Visa, given the valid work permit of my partner?
Thank you, in advance, for any ideas!
