It's amazing how building your own slice of paradise can so quickly become a personal hell, and how fast that happens out in a small Thai village. It happens to the best of us who try that life. File for divorce at a later date, although at your age I dunno what the benefit would be. Obviously, change your will and tell her afterwards (and when you are not in her village). I'd probably leave without saying a word. She deserves nothing after the way she has treated you.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I don't think you can stay in her house in her village happily and safely forever. It's over. It's just another case of putting all your eggs in a woman's basket and she knows she ain't gonna get much more out you, so she's showing her true colors. Enjoy your golden years.

You don't need an HIV test. You had no exposure to HIV. People simply don't get HIV through sexual means without a history of penetrative sex. But don't ask Aseannow forum, ask an expert. I don't mind telling you, I've been refused an HIV test on this basis, due to no risk.

Hang on, We don't need to wash 5 times a day, once is enough. Muslims actually do wash 5 times a day, funnily enough, before each prayer session -- or at least they are supposed to. You can't speak for all guys and all women on if they like foreskin or otherwise. Its obviously subjective. Regarding people "forcing their views on others": some people happen to consider male circumcision as child abuse, just like female circumcision (which is illegal in most countries), and we have every right to voice that opinion. We also have every right to participate in the discussion about how it's an ineffective defense against diseases (compare with modern medicine) and has limited benefits. And yeah, we can agree on many people hating condoms, but that does not indicate circumcision as a prevention of STDs

Well, that makes some sense as 78 years ago wasn't very long after the invention/discovery of penicillin and not many antibiotics had been invented, studied, and used. Not to mention, the HPV vaccine hadn't been invented. And let's not pretend you were circumcision to prevent HIV as it wasn't even a conceivable disease then (not unless you had the ability to see into the future or a very good imagination)

Circumcision would be indicated as some kind of primitive defense against these, perhaps a 100 or more years ago when we didn't have: - HPV vaccine for cancer - antibiotics for UTIs - condoms for STDs Talking about circumcision now for these things just sounds ridiculous. It's a cosmetic and religious practice nowadays.

HPV vaccine is more scientific and sensible for cancer, not to mention condoms for additional disease protection. Pathetic reasons. Ever heard of soap n water? And who cares about what women think? What kind of reason is that? Practice good hygiene and have some self esteem. I dunno why you are trying to convince everyone else that you are happy with your circumcision.
