Had a weird but typical experience with AIS lately...

The wife and I have been on the same AIS postpaid plan for the past year, 99 baht per month for 180 any network calling minutes, and then any data and SMS charged extra... Which was perfect for us, because we both have other main use SIMs and were just holding onto our original AIS numbers as backups/placeholders...

Now the weird part was, last week, AIS sent us both SMS messages saying our one-year plans were expiring and the best they could offer for the coming year was a 149b per month plan with the same 180 minutes and then unlimited 64 Kbps internet (the latter being pretty useless for almost anything).

I didn't really want to pay more for SIMs we really don't use much, so asked my wife to call AIS and see what could be done. She did, and they ended up offering her over the phone a different plan, supposedly something special because of the CV, that would keep our 99b per month / 180 minutes rate for at least the coming 3 months -- after sending us SMSs saying said plan wasn't available anymore.

So in the process, I was looking at the AIS website and AIS mobile app. Both the original plan we had and the newer 149b plan they originally offered both had Thai names. And neither of those could I find anywhere in the website or app. Nor could I find any calling minutes postpaid plan costing 99b or even 149b per month. I think the lowest postpaid plan with calling minutes I could find with them was something like 249b per month.

So, we're sticking with the 99b / 180 calling minutes plan for at least the coming 3 months. But it strikes me as reflecting an exceptional lack of transparency on AIS's part -- plans they claim are canceled that then are really not, low priced plans they offer, but don't seem to publicly list anywhere... Typical Thai stuff.

What did you expect ? they all are cheaters and absolutely do not care customers.

That states the 12th to the 24th of June, if it works. They have repurposed the former 10 Mbps Unlimited code, for this 4 Mbps Unlimited package?

Seems a bit strange, to me.

Halo, do you have the reply please ? does it work ? cheers.

Unless you are buying the very top of the line Merc, it's a marketing myth they are better vehicles. A 200 series Mercedes-Benz is no better than the equivalent capacity Japanese or Korean car.

For example, compare the SLK 200 Benz with a Kia Stinger. The Stinger has 35% more boost pressure on the turbo, and is about 30% cheaper out of the showroom.

But who is insane enough to buy a KIA, yes i repeat, KIA hahahahahahahaahahahaha for the price of a Benz ?

    http://www.headlightmag.com/official-price-kia-stinger-2-0-turbo-thai-yontrakit/

    so ridiculous...

  5. I think the Mazda are the only ones not totally ugly and cheap looking.

If they had a star in front, it would be possible that it's a Mercedes Benz design.

But of course the interior and finishing is far as good as any German car.

Now the question is why honda and toyota are still making so ugly cheap looking cars ?!

All boats will need to check in at Na Dan pier.

Resorts will all open 1st apart from the ones who think it's not worth it.

Big changes. They are saying all hotels/resorts can only open 50% of their rooms.

Speedboats can only operate at 30%.

so you mean that I cannot take a boat anymore to reach directly my private pool room at the southern most point of Samed ?

I have never passed by and paid any entrance fee.

So this week end ? are hotels open for somebody who knows that official announcements usually are just BS ?

Given the difficult circumstances for many people here on various kinds of visas, i think that the government would be sympathatic and considerate enough to extend all the visa requirements till 1st Jan 2021 for those already inside Thailand, and waive the 400/800k or whatever amount was required for the yearly extension for one single time.

This is clearly what will happen.

Not difficult to understand for anybody bot totally insane ????

Point is how much nutrition they get from that? For them it will be almost licking water, they'll be full of water but still hungry and asking food after 10 minutes..

no, point is to know if it is dangerous or not. And your point is also not the question asked.

to others ? sorry for grammar BS, but i actually do not see what was wrong in my message ?! maybe people are too smart on this forum ? all rocket scientists ?

    sorry...

and thank you for the useful replies, i am just surprised that many of you give cow milk, so it might be ok.

  9. good morning, i am new here, I am wondering if you can confirm that dogs and cats can drink lactasoy milk or any soy milk ?

I have checked online and it seems ok but as it is hard to rely on any online information, i would like to know your experience.

I also know that grown up dogs and cats do not need milk just as humans, but they like it a lot and would like to give as a threat, and avoid standard milk which is more expensive and lactose not good (i can also make my own soy milk, so i am sure that it's healthy) thank you for your insight.
