Yes, but I am sure you know, every immigration office has its own rules, no matter what they say in General rules. Chonburi office the same, some days they did 2 weeks before the last date of extention starting on the day of expire, but some days they started counting 60 days from the day you applied.

Normally they do what they want))) Strangely, nobody who has already applied asked immigration from what date they start counting 60 days. Chonburi immigration likes to start from the day you apply.

I am longer, since extentions started))) 12 passport pages with covid extention stamps)) That is why immigration officer told me to bring an embassy letter, and it helped me. In Pattaya never had any issues.

As I mentioned above, I have the same expiry date the 21st of September. We never know unless we try. I think it will depend on the immigration, the officer and amount of covid extention stamps))) I will rely mostly on my embassy letter.

Tanks for reply. Just on Monday I got my second stamp after the "under consideration stamp". So I had my covid extention till 21 September. I wander if I apply before August 24, will they give 60 days from the day of my current extention expire. Was not easy last time at Jang Wattana, had to bring a letter from the embassy, do 90 days report that has never been requiered in Pattaya, copies of every single stamp of thai immigration in my passport etc
