Funny Chonburi Immigration
anandra replied to anandra's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I know, but that lady at information desk told me to talk to their boss, So I went to his table they were looking at my passport stamp for about 10 minutes, I read in some immigration Fscebook group that Chonbiri makes extentions on the same week your visa expires -
I went today to get my another Covid-19 extention at Chonbiri immigration office at about 10.00 a.m and was surprised that there was no que at all. When I handed my passport to the information desk, the lady told me your extention will expire on 24 th of may, so you must come on Monday)) Strange it is just four days, and the office was not full as it used to be during my previous visits.

Anyone get a Covid extension recently?
anandra replied to dj230's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Congratulations!! Very strange you did not get stamp "Under consideration" But still you need to come again. How long did it take you to get inside from 8AM? -
Thank you my friend. But the question was not about those rules!! the question was where he can apply for non immigrant b visa, in what country they accept applications for sure, based on someone's experience!! THE KEY POINT WHERE not how and what to do, just WHERE THEY DO IT FOR SURE. As there were no proper replies from THAI EMBASSY IN MALAYSIA, Laos, Cambodia.

He entered on tourost visa a year ago, and started working as a teacher, but due to mistake of his school agents, he had one day of overstay, which was sorted out immediately as he told me, he did not pay even penalty. But when he tried to apply for work permit they reminded him that overstay, and told him he can apply for non b visa only abroad. All this time he was working on covid extensions, Now it is time for new contarc he wants to work normally and legally.

My friend wants to apply for non immigrnt b visa to teach, As it is impossible for him to do it in Thailand. Does anybody have experience in applying for this visa in Laos or Malaysia, or maybe Cambodia recently? Nothing is clear about entryl to Laos, or can he apply for it there. He can fly, it is not a problem. Malaysia opened borders as well, can he apply there, in Kuala or Penang thai consulates, still no updated information about those countries.

On the other hand russians should be happy they could get a bank account at all. By the way this is policy of most thai banks to push that useless expensive insurance. But most of them will refuse even to open any account if you are on tourist visa. It is better to go to agents as they charge 5000 baht for asistance with bank account which is better. I still wonder russians cry about not working cards, airplanes, but still keep coming to Thailand, after applying for extentions to stay

another totally childish conclusion, all that country supports Putin, just watch russian tv, russian yotube bloggers, russian telegram, and use your brain. Read russian edition of Pataya News, read the comments of russian trolls in Bangkok post. Putins rating grew to 80%. Those who do not support they run away from their country.

I f you are sorry for the population of the fascist Germany during the rule of Hutler, I trust you then. It is your right to support acomplices of terrorism. What tourism are talking about, russian people are fighting for sugar at the supermarkets in their country, and if you are russsian, you knw it yourself.

Cabinet Discusses Help for Stranded Russian, Ukrainian Tourists
anandra replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
That it is quite pathetic, it looks like putin, who started the war helped many russians who could not get covid extention to continue staying in Thaialnd!! The point here is that "great super country russsa" has not aircraft. Most of its airplanes are on lease of Irish and other countries companies. So when those companies began returning their airplanes back, super rich russia has nearly nothing now. But still they have some, they can take their passengers back Even now many russians flying in Thaialnd, if they fly in they can fly back. -
