Did he inform you upfront that in case he would brake the crown you would have to pay ?

You could argue if he was a real dedicated and skilled craftsman he would not have broken the tooth.

If I recall well, there are some legal disputes going on. Has to do (amongst others) with neighbours losing uninterrupted sea view when VT 7 was built. When you do a google search more details will come up.

Addition: an other friend of mine lost her job and wanted to go back to her family in Korat. She travelled with three other ladies in a taxi but was stopped at the border of the province, was not allowed in and needed to go back to Pattaya as they did not have the correct papers (!).

A friend of mine returned from Germany and is now in quarantine. After that she will travel to her village and she was told that she should be in another 2 weeks of quarantine (!).

Don't know about this in Thailand, but in Myanmar they definitely do.
