I made a land border crossing back in 2013 and went to Poipet with basically my luggage and a smile and managed to get a visa on arrival with my cash and waiting 30 minutes or so. I'm doing my first entry into Pong Nam Raw from Pattaya to do a visa renew and after that I will be eligible for my retirement visa which I wioll not need to worry about this stuff atleast not monthly anyway. My question is can I show up at the Border a day before my visa is due and walk up with the smile and cash and get entry or do I need to make my life easier with other options?

Did anyone see the news about "South Korea confirms Covid-19 outbreak in 32 Thai workers, 28 others awaiting results"???? So now it's the Thais in other countries spreading their filth, I'm only being facetious here but really when will people learn we can all get this <deleted><deleted> virus? I personally believe the thing is way overblown with this mortality rate given the fact that I'm in a location where I've seen several thousand people that were infected but not 1 single death occurred.

Seriously if the French lady had the virus after 14 days of quarantine this only tells me she acquired it in Thailand. She became sick after a week of being released? Incubation period is 2 to 14 days so all I can say is that Thailand does indeed have covid19 in the country and Thailand is not doing nationwide testing so they can prove they're virus free. I could be wrong but it seems the simplest answer is usually the answer.

My question is this, are they even testing people in Thailand? I've heard stories of people crossing the Myanmar border with ease and no testing/quarantine. If this is true I would say they should start testing to find out what's really happening inside the country. While I have a bias opinion due to the fact I'm currently locked out of the country from seeing my wife I can only hope there is some solid solution soon because the economic situation will only become worse the longer the country is locked down.
