  1. Life in prison is far from tolerance.

You must deserve your life as a highest gift, and be proud to live it properly.

That was not an accident or something - that was exactly a pure crime, with all of his understanding the possible responcibility - and now it is a time of justice, as it must be. In such of cases there must be no excuses and no mercy. That's how I understand this. Dura lex - sed lex.©

PS: Dont worry, if he'll get a life sentence - he will not be enjoying that for long. The victims family's members would take care of that (especially in TH - where life is cheap, guards are poor and social connections are well-maintained). That's it.

  2. Something is best NOT to be made public (like the Kennedy assassination). DSI is wise to lock up the files and grant no access, as the truth about the army (guardian of the nation) murder its own poor & innocent citizen in cold blood, is not going to comfort the relatives of the death. Our sorrow have pass us already, there is no need to open up the coffin to remind us about our past. Also, it might produce evidence that the army was really present on the MRT track, which is not acceptable to CRES (despite having video footage). Let all sleep on it. The truth is of no interest to anyone who want peace.

Hello are you on this planet ? What on earth are you talking about ?

Take it easy - he/she is just one more troll. Check the reputation. :)

  3. I think the argument is that this is not a political gathering, but a "commemorative rally"...

Call it the way you want. The previous one was also "just a peaseful rally" - and you could clearly see the burned Central World on the twit pics above. Right behind those "peaceful protestors". :(

  4. In Thailand anything is possible

Here I must agree with u. It is an argument which beats any logic, laws, experience etc.

    Yeah....Welcome to Thailand. :(

If you don't know why ManU - Liverpool is a red-shirt show, you're probably not English or dislike soccer.

    I hate soccer. :)

  5. Please excuse me, but this gathering to commemorate an event was agreed upon with police, etc.

    So what's your problem ?

The problem is that you do not understand the fact: Dura lex - sed lex (the Law is tough, but the Law). You CANNOT make exceptions of the law just to benefit/greet a minority (some of whose are terrorists, active or on-the-run).

IF it is SoE - than there must be NO exceptions. IF it is NOT - than lets make some crowds over 5 pax and cancel SoE (anyway it is exist only on the papers, as we can clearly see).

(PS ManU - Liverpool start 7.30PM, don't miss this red-shirt show)

I have no idea what are you talking about.

PS: CRES has banned rallies in Bkk ()

  6. 12:24PM Ratchaprasong more or less blocked ( http://twitpic.com/2pvod1 )

So where is so-called "SoE rule not to allow crowds 5+ pax"????????

Anyone in this f#$%#$%#$@ govt able to enforce even ONE thing in their own country?? Where is the police? Where are SWATs? Noone to disperce the 2nd season of this red-soap drama?

I should re-think my decision to pay my taxes to THIS.

  7. Amazing Thailand Burma.

Please keep your childish sarcasm by you.

The current move to BAN this reddish BS is targeted to keep the current status of the regime as long as they are able to PROTECT the current (VOTED!) regime. The elected govt has every rights to protect the currnent (VOTED!) regime. Political shows calling for a revolutin are BANNED in most of countries to keep stability (inclusive of using military forces to disperce such of rallies, if any).

IF they are the govt elected by the most of the citizens - they HAVE right to protect the stability under the voted regime (as they were voted by the most, and they MUST protect the trust and keep the things as longer as they can).

THIS move of Th.govt I am higly welcome, as it will REDUCE the reddish revolutionary BS among the Thais and thus, INCREASE the social stability.

    Thumb up! Keep doin'!

PS: Im not a yellowish supporter - I just love the things a few decades back. NO ANY of this colored BS was visible, and the society was SO stable, friendly....and what do we see now??

I just want that stability back, thats all.

  8. "No matter the purpose, the group has every right to organize the rally"

How abt the SoE (State of Emergency), which directly PROHIBITS the crowds 5pax++??

    That's not even funny.

Allowing THIS BS under the "democracy" flag, this so-called "government" will lose MANYTHING. This is the road to hel_l, and INDEED will be a double-standard (as much as I hate to sound the "double standard" sentence).

The law is tough, but the law. Dura lex - sed lex ©

IF here is the law of SoE - so just ENFORCE it and NOT allow this reddish BS. And if here is NOT - than everyone at their own, and (frankly speakin') the "government" is NOTHING but a funds-eater.

  9. This is really no good News to the Foreigners currently living in Thailand. But do they even know that this affects the Tourist and all the Exports.

in this High Season they really need to put the Thai Baht down. Else next Year no one is going to come NO more.

Or lower the prices (in Thai Baht), make'em be equal to so-called "service". :)

Currently most of offers (in travel industry) are well overprised comparing to the quality.

  10. I was referring to countries that consider themselves democratic.

Well than, I am also feel and consider myself as a Chinese Emperor. Am I a Chinese Emperor, or should I be sent to the nearest psycho clinic? :)

And I never said anything about 'pure'.

No, you did not. I did it while asking you for a sample. "Consider themselves as a sample" will not work here (as it leads to the clinic, as we see), thus you should provide a GOOD sample as long as you started to mention about "democratic countries".

    That's what I asked (and you've failed, YAWN). :)

  11. Democracy is a political form of government where governing power is derived from the people, either by direct referendum (direct democracy) or by means of elected representatives of the people (representative democracy).

    Blahblahblah... :)

    Samples, pls? Existing samples.

you maybe talking about Utopia ;)

    That's what I meant. :)

When they'll open an Embassy in Bkk - I'll be the first in queue. :)

Unfortunately, you just can't be "partially pregnant". You are (already), or you're not (yet). Your country is a democratic one (already), or it is not (yet).

Talking about pure democracy, the first choice (yet) not exist. And never will. :jap:

  12. since you seem to be the only one here who knows about photo-editing, look at the new one as mentioned a few replies before.

And what should I look at?

The pic is a fake, I said it since the beginning (see prev.pages) and now saying it to you once again. Who's next?

As for embassies, they only issue statements when they feel a need to defend something, or when thoroughly pressed.

They do NOT issue statements by themselves, but only by request/order of their homeland MFA's. They themselves are unable to make own juristical decisions in such of cases, for your information. They can only make decisions on private level (grant you a visa, for example. Or not grant).

Pls, read the basics before you post.

  13. I disagree completely.South Africa has diplomatic relations with Thailand and an Embassy in Bangkok.Thaksin is a fugitive from justice. If the photo is faked then we will hear about it from the South Africans. If it is not faked we will hear nothing I suspect.

Having an Embassy is nothing more but "the question of face". Welcome to the real world, Neo.

Russia has an embassy? Yes. Proceed to read abt Mr.Bout.

Cambodia has an embassy? Yes. Proceed to read abt Preah Vihear.

SA has an embassy? Yes. Proceed to read abt Montenegrin, or Nicaraguan, or Ugandian or whoever-he-could-be-but-not-Thai-at -that-time(!) in SA.

SA Embassy has nothing to report to TH in this case, that's how I am taking it.

  14. Why prove innocence? Mr. Mandela is not guilty of anything. It's just that a fake photo with k. Thaksin, a notorious and controversial person, a statement may be forthcoming. Stand-alone this picture has no value, it's the story around it which may provoke outrage and contempt from the duped parties.

And you expect the Embassy to sound the whole story-behind-the-scene to you?

    Yeah, keep waiting... :-)
