I'm on a TR visa looking to apply for a 1 year ED visa.

My passport is expiring in 8 months. Will I be able to get a 1 year visa or I have to renew the passport first? Thanks.

Does Thailand report an existence of foreigner owned bank accounts to account holder's country of citizenship? Specifically the Western world. Thanks!

An agency offered a Non-Immigrant Visa-B (business) that apparently doesn’t require a Thai work permit. Sounds odd that you don’t need a work permit for a business visa. But they're saying it's used only for "staying", not to work or do business. I've never heard of this before. Anyone has any experience with this visa type? Thanks!
