Why give him so much attention. let him rot in jail. Killing a 3 year old ...........but this is Thailand... as already mentioned.. for an opinion you get jail and no bail but for murders with high ranked friends there is everything.. same the red bull heir

Actually, this is a well written story, background, build up, climax and resolution. Takes the reader in. I personally don't see that death is always a bad thing. Maybe the best thing in this case.

The unfortunate choice of the word "leftover' by the writer seems to have triggered a barrage of comments from easily triggered egos who see it as an insult to their sense of self.

"I have to wait around 2 months to receive my degree certificate so I can apply for a Non-B. "
I think you may have to do more waiting than that. I got a job offer and went along to Rayong immigration to get a non-B and was told that I have to get a teaching license and the work permit first before they will issue me this visa. I just received the temporary license on Friday. It took 3 weeks. I'm told the work permit will take another week and then you will still need to have at least 15 days left on your covid extension before they will consider your application. So that's a total of another 6 weeks. Good luck

Agreed, my first reflection when seeing photos is to remember that photos are often “flipped” and so not reflective of last-right orientation.
Must not have seen the video

Don't worry, it is easy. They will accept your application as long as you have 1,900 baht handy. But you will get an "under consideration" stamp first with the date to come back. This is a formality.

My dailies are 30 days.

Well, it really is nasty and vindictive to do that to somebody and deserves some kind of punishment.

That's really interesting. I saw on Richard Barrow's twitter that he's going from a covid extension to a non-b, eventually, as he accidentally let his work permit expire and that cancelled his visa.
But it could be the case that you can only do that if you went from a non-b onto the covid extension, which is not what I would be coming from.
Certainly worthy of further investigation.
Do you know if they will still expect a recent criminal record check from your home country when you make your new application?
They just asked me for the criminal check in Bangkok which will be posted to the school. Cannot collect yourself as before. Takes 3 weeks.

I lost my job due to covid cutbacks. I've been on 2 month covid extensions for the past 6 months. Now finally I got a job offer so I went to immigration and said can I apply for a non B visa. They said no problem provided you have 2 weeks left on you present extension. I do. I hope this helps.

Jail time for the German no doubt. If the accused was a Thai, a small fine would be imposed.Notice your tendency to jump in and make it a race thing. What does that say about you?

I doubt they would have given you another extension in January if your visa goes until 28th Feb.

Has anyone got an extension beyond Jan. 29th?

so the 60 day extension goes from Nov. 30th to Jan 29th. So anyone who is not stamped up until Jan 29th can go back and get stamped to this date. Is that right?

Well, took a while but it has just sunk in that my actual status in Thailand is one of those "Foreigners stranded in Thailand due to COVID-19". Doesn't get much worse than that.

Many old geezers like this around. They claim they are old and have no money and people should have sympathy for them. So they don't pay rent and walk out of restaurants with unpaid bills and bitch and whine about everything but in fact are shrewd high level narcissists with no sense of responsibility and who care nothing about others.
