I have a shared Google Drive folder for them to download everything from, but they said everything is fine.

Same situation as you, my partner is using an agent but so far they have not said anything about the fact that all of my supporting documents are electronic.

That's a bit of an old fashioned idea, western courts and social services seem to have viewed 'mom only' as the ideal parenting for at least the past 20 years.
Yes, I know that all too well.
But I said if you want the best for the child. The courts and social services only want what is best for the mother.
Which is all the more reason why having a child these days should not be entered into lightly. If things go bad, most likely you are SOL and on your own.

Absolutley. In the boom times, invest in the infrastructure, education and social development of the country so that when the boom times stop (and they will) you are not affected by it so much. Not a unique situation in Thailand of course.
I think it is human nature to just let the good times roll...

I have been on the otherside of this situation. Living in the UK, I divorced with my Chinese wife (her choice), and the prospect of her taking my daughter back to China and only being able to see her every couple of months of the year was the biggest fear on my mind.
Luckily her mother couldn't have given a rats ass and ended up leaving our daughter with me anyway. So now I have seen how their relationship has changed, now that they only see each other 2-3 times per year.
As many have said here, if you want to give your child the best life, parenting is a full time job for ideally two people. You will never have a close relationship with your child if you don't live together, and they will grow up thinking your behaviour and your absence is normal - and expect to either behave like that themselves or tolerate such behaviour as normal.
Its up to you what you consider important in your life, but you should also consider that you are creating more than just a child. You are creating a new life.
Are you doing this for your benefit or theirs?

really ?
how do you know this
as I understand it there is no accurate rapid test under 24hrs especially if testing lots of people at the same location all at once
They told me everyone was swab tested early in the morning, and 10 people were denied entry into the ceremony based on the results. Whether the test is accurate or not is anyones guess.
Either the test is rushed and inaccurate, or there are cases in Thailand beyond the official "zero" figure (although very low).
My guess is probably a combination of both.

Cancelled Thai flight last year.

Thai are flying from BKK to LHR every Sunday at the moment. We used our cancelled tickets from last year to booked my partner to come in May this year so fingers crossed.
That was booked with Thai directly, so they issued us a travel credit valid to December 2022. According to their terms they should have done the same for you.
Good luck getting ahold of them though. All of this had to be done on the phone through the Thailand office directly, and the customer service is not the best...
