I have the same problem, so I went and bought a fan, took it to the gym and left it there. The manager understands that anyone can use it, but it's mine. This is the second fan, the first one lasted about 3 years.
Very old school. Why not get a handheld fan, though the arm holding it might get huge (unless you keep switching hands)

For retirement visa extension.
Expired 1 year lease from a few years back, but still live there, all required paperwork up to date based on this address(TM30, 90 day etc).
Rent continued on month to month basis after expiry, with receipts for all payments of rent and utilities.
Question-Will Chang Wattana require brand new annual lease to be signed, when extending for retirement or is documentation above sufficient
Thanks for any recent experiences or advice

Hopefully the new flag will have the national animal, the Haggis on it. I have heard it is a small animal native to Scotland, a bit like the ostrich. Because the habitat of the haggis in exclusively mountainous, and because it is always found on the sides of Scottish mountains, it has evolved a rather strange gait. The poor thing has only three legs, and each leg is a different length - the result of this is that when hunting haggis, you must get them on to a flat plain - then they are very easy to catch - they can only run round in circles.

The big boys do it with currency swap forward contracts. For small fries, many funds and ETFs also hedge currency risk using forward contracts.

Sounds like you have been watching too many Rambo movies....

Cebu island is definitely on the cards for my first post covid holiday.
Heard great things about it and would like to know more.
Anyone here ever been?
what to expect?
nice beaches, food, girls etc?
I've never been to the philippines before so any advice/suggestions would be great!
thanks.
(apologies if this is in the wrong forum).
Best places for diving in Cebu are Moalboal in Southwest of island and Mactan island near airport.
Otherwise, for decent diving need to head to Palawan, nowhere near Cebu unfortunately. Food situation is as others described. If you have some common sense, it isn't nearly as dangerous as some of the timorous types have been posting on here

When did fish and chips become an Italian delicacy????

Hypothetical scenario:
Is the following possible without leaving country.
1. Hold Non-Imm B with work permit and 12 month extension for work.
2. Retire, cancel work permit then change reason for extension to retirement.
3. In the future, job arises, apply new work permit, and change reason for stay back to employment from retirement.
