Visa Options After Work Permit Cancellation
OK. So the permission of stay which was originally until November 2026 is still valid or should I must leave the country 13th of April? If I must leave the country and re-enter. How many days will I get?

Visa Options After Work Permit Cancellation
Guys, Thanks for the reply. Just to clarify again: I had a visa non immigrant B until this Tuesday. It was cancelled and I got an extension of 21 days until mid April 2024. The agent at Chang Wattana who told me that I will have to leave the country. Will keep you updated.

There are so many different answers. Not sure why it is so complicated. Is there someone with a definitive solution?

Visa Options After Work Permit Cancellation
OK. Just discussed with the BOI officer. After termination of your contract you get either 7 or 21 days additional. Then you go to Chang wattana on level 1 to ask for a non-o. One agent at BOI asked me 25,000 then to do the process

Visa Options After Work Permit Cancellation
Apologies for not using the correct terms. I have the termination letter stating that today is my last working day. I also have my work permit and Non-B visa. The HR department has agreed to delay the cancellation of my work permit and visa. From what I understand, you’re suggesting that I switch to a Non-O spouse visa without canceling my work permit. Is that correct? Since my work permit is tied to a BOI company, how can I transfer to a new company that is not BOI? Additionally, my wife does not yet have employees in her company, so I’m not sure if I can switch yet. What is the minimum number of employees required when married to a Thai—two employees, four employees?

Visa Options After Work Permit Cancellation
Hi everyone, I currently hold a Non-B visa with a work permit from a BOI company, but it will be canceled soon (by the end of this week or next, as decided last month). I would like to explore my options for staying in Thailand, either by joining my wife's company (non-BOI) or switching to a Non-O visa until I secure a new job (I am currently in the interview process). Could you advise me on the available visa options or any other alternatives? I am a male, married to a Thai woman for 8–9 months, living in Bangkok. I am renting an apartment, and my name is not on the Tabian Baan (house registration). I would prefer not to leave Thailand for the visa transition. Thanks in advance!

Story Of My Thai Citizenship Application
I’m unsure if my profile is suitable for obtaining citizenship and would appreciate your honest feedback. I am 40 years old, married, and work in IT. I speak Thai fluently and have a solid understanding of Thai culture. Having lived here for nearly 10 years, I believe my decision to apply for citizenship is well-considered. I have held a continuous work permit for over three years (including 9 months with my current employer) and have paid taxes for the past three years. Could you please advise me on which guides or resources I should consult?

Story Of My Thai Citizenship Application
Hi everyone, I recently got married and have been living here for almost 10 years. I am interested in applying for citizenship and would like to know if the requirements need to be valid for a certain number of months before applying. I currently hold a non-immigrant B visa and have a valid work permit. I have been working at my current company for 9 months, and I was with my previous company for 2.8 years. Thank you for your help.

Am looking for new dTac SIM - 30 Mbps - Unlimited download - 1 year
I bought one for 1,300 THB... I don't think it's too good to be true. You just get tons of SMS advertising (and sometimes calls).

Travel insurance
Hi everyone, I'm looking for recommendations for travel insurance to cover my future trips outside of Thailand (as I work in Bangkok). Ideally, I'd like a yearly plan that provides coverage for both flight delays/cancellations and medical expenses. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
