  1. I find it ironic when officials say "our job is to bring them home" when the government should be focusing on providing opportunities for Thai citizens in Thailand
  2. The same reasons so many foreigners are trying to save ladybar: stupidity or ignorance?
  3. Yes but the registration for permanent residency / nationality is not at the same period than the 3 years working anniversary
  4. Hi all, I have a question and I was wondering if you could help me. I have been employed and working in Thailand since 2015. I lost my job to COVID-19 and was in Thailand on a COVID-19 extension until I found a new job in April 2021. Am I eligible to apply for residency or nationality? Best
  5. I am getting notifications for articles like that.... can we improve a bit the quality of the highlights?
  6. This is the 100th article discussing about the exact same things: "Thaksin returns" and the article content is the same. Sorry but you must improve the quality of the articles you select!
  7. So basically the guy speaks Korean and there is one guy in this post who criticize Chinese people... Another EXPERT! Honestly speaking, in most post, there are people who come up with their hate of others. Chinese, Russian, Muslims. Guys, why don't you just make your jokes without insulting others?
  8. So much efforts... Wonder why they don't catch all theses "digital content creators"
  9. With all respect, I think you are naive to think that CP doesn't have any connections with the government/military elites. CP controls whole swaths of the economy, even the environmental policy is impacted by CP
  10. Hi, May I know the point structure, for the salary part, please. When not married Thanks in advance :)
  11. If married for 2 years, that means half 80,000 required for two years and 80,000 required for 1 year, correct?
  12. Thanks for the quick reply. I am not (yet) married. Once married, is there a minimum additional years of marriage to be fulfilled?
  13. Hi guys, Hope you are all doing well. I am posting here a simple question. I have been working here for 8+ years and I am in a few years 40 years old. There are 'only' ~ 3500 people of my country in Thailand. What would be the best advisable things to do. Asking for PR or citizenship. Thanks in advance :)
  14. States in the US are part of the same country with the same passport, same currency, same official language, etc. Countries in Europe don't even share the same labour law. Some countries in Europe don't even use the Euro currency. It's easy to understand. Come on. You want to continue into comparison. I leave it here. Just go in Wikipedia it's free ????
  15. Well, in case you didn't know, each countries have different salaries, labour laws, holiday per year, social welfare, etc ... A Iirish will get 2-3 times higher salary than a Portuguese. A French will get much more holiday than a Belgian. So basically, this 'survey' compares irrelevant economy system. How can you compare someone who gets 950€ per month to someone who gets 2300€ and make an average of it. It's not rocket science. As for Germany, you can make your own deduction.
  16. Yes but USD is much more used as an alternative currency. Still doesn't make any sense but yeah... The things I like the most on this website are the comments more than the articles
  17. Many so-called specialist on this post with a sense of generalisation
