It seems that London and Paris manage with 2 airports in operation.!
More than that! London has Heathrow and the little known London City in the Docklands. Then there are the 3 other "Local" airports, Gatwick (LGW), Luton, and built in the marshes, like Surwanathingy, Stanstead Airport. All deal with both Domestic and International.

There is another specialist photoshop in Bangkok. Take the Skytrain to the River (I forget the name of the station). Walk away froom the river and there is a Robinsons, turn down the Soi before it and there is a well stocked camera shop for Film CCameras of all types. (Not a digital in the building!). You can see they sign in the rooftop as you come into the station.
In Pattaya, try the Kodak shop opposite Soi 7. Not sure - may be their museum items.

I know the last posting was a year ago, but only just read it.
My favourite is Amuzing Thai Cartoons, written by an expat in Pattaya.
Some appear in the local newspaper (P Mail) and other are too truthful and would offend .... (the list is long - Healthcare, Condos, Bars, Boys in Brown, etc, but the cartoons are true... )

Not only in Thailand! When I was staying in Sri Lanka, we went up to the Ancient City.
It was so far up in the hills very few people went there. The rich Sri Lankans in their chauffer driven Pajeros were admited for ONE RUPEE each, whereas I had to pay 12 USD. The public transport there was "interesting" and overcrowded .
Another goverment who believed that tourists are there to be fleeced. Why not set a "Per vehicle" price and base it on vehicle type, Pajeros being the highest. Oh well, I can always dream.
I found it worth 12 USD. Surely those rich Sri Lankans would have found it the same........

There's a difference between paying for an upgrade and paying the highest departure tax in the region when Thailand actually has far lower running costs than any of the other major airports in the region.
Phnom Penh is far higher. They charge 25 USD (approx 950 baht) departure tax. And on arrival, there is no free VOA, just a hand written Tourist visa for 20 USD or Business for 25 USD, but that is proper to a new VISAs thread.

Bangkok Hospital Pattaya already has an Immigration Office in the Hotpital. Open one day a week. It is a booth to be precise, and deals with Patients enquiries and renewals.
Pattaya Immigration also has a website where you can make applications on-line , then visit their office to finalise your paperwork by appointment.
