Another great show is called Witness Number 3. Though it got low IMDB rating it is in fact a top rate tense drama , interesting camera work with quality cast. It has a claustrophobic , nightmare quality underpinned by gritty realism . Basically a witness to a murder is threatened by a gang of nihlist kids . A great show

It's not overly didactic. The title of the thread is not taken literally. I have no problem and have been a regular contributor to this forum for a long time. I don't believe you are watching those dull but worthy films. LOL I don't think many people do actually. But feel free to explain what you liked about them. One of the best series I've seen recently is The Undeclared War which got a low IMDB rating and some poor reviews from international liberal media. Its a brilliant, ambitious multi layered drama about a battle of wits between the GCHQ staff and their Russian counterparts. Great intellegent casting, excellent plotting, sudpense driven with imaginative direction and screenplay. A very intelligent production and very revealing about the manufacturing of opinion.

It's a forum where we share information and opinions about movies and TV shows. If you don't like that then fund another forum. Try giving some information about the material you recommend not just cutting and pasting Jpegs. Have you seen any of those films?

Eliminating all those tax loopholes is easier said than done. Labour didn't manage. Taxes are the highest they have been for decades! The NHS is not fit for purpose and needs partial privatisation like the French, German and Spanish systems for example.

It's far more complicated than left wing media. The DM also railed against BJ. The cultural elite who hate and fear populism and feared the power of people who voted for Brexit and Boris were his undoing. It is not vociferous its insidious. The BBC, the tone most newspapers, the messaging from the intellectual and seat's of academia hated BJ and they got their own way. Over what? A slice of birthday cake and a pathetic bum pincher! Boris was no worse than Thatcher, Blair, Cameron, Peel, Lord Liverpool etc none whom had more 'integrity' than Johnson who was stitched up.

Brexit was NOT in 2016. Its a long drawn out process that started in 2019, then interrupted by covid and will take at least 5 more years. As far as most Brexiteers are concerned Brexit has not started!

Have you tried the wide range from Friendship- select the beans then they grind them for you. Here in Thailand they grow some of the best Coffee in the world but they don't promote it unlike in Vietnam

There is a very coherent queuing system at Jomtien immigration with a dedicated desk area for each area of administration with a matching number system. After the long weekend and office closures I guessed the first two days would be rammed so I went Thursday at 3pm when it was very quiet with very fast service. Just brilliant compared the UK Government services which currently are not really working. It's such a pleasant change and a relief getting things done here.

Witness number 3. Great new short series set on a gang dominated council estate in UK.

Had to switch it off - just rubbish. Not a molecule of creativity or originality. Dire. ludicrous location switches, repetitive fight scenes, zero credible characters and dead dialogue.

It look like a political propaganda piece probably anti Israeli. Not my idea of 'Netflix and chilling' LOL

Presumably it's based on the Novel by Kafka - Is this a remake?
