  1. I made two appointments in the past and they were right on time no waiting.
  2. In the past I was able to make an online appointment to go to HH immigration and renew my retirement extension without issues. But now I do not see any way to schedule appointments for the Hua Hin office. Would appreciate any information. Thanks.
  3. Thanks to all for your comments. Is there a way I can accept responsibility for her and guarantee she will return to Thailand? Something analogous to paying bail to insure she returns or I lose money? Anything like that?
  4. I am in Thailand with my Thai girlfriend. Has anyone recently gone through the process of obtaining a tourist visa to the USA for a Thai girlfriend? Thoughts on the likelihood of obtaining one? Thanks.
  5. Update: last night my landlord submitted a TM30 online and sent us a screen grab saying it was Approved. Today I went to HH immigration with all the supporting documentation thinking I also needed to update immigration on my new address via the TM28. Turns out that is unnecessary as we were told there is nothing for me to do since the landlord did it online. What a pleasant surprise! Thanks again.
  6. Many thanks Dr. J
  7. I am here on a retiree extension and have moved today from one location in PKK province to another. Can someone please provide guidance on which forms I will need to complete and what other documents I will need to bring to immigration? I assume I will need to complete the TM28, anything else? What do I need from the landlord? They are very nice people but do not have much experience renting to expats. Thanks.
  8. Thanks to all who recommended AA insurance brokers. They have been extremely helpful in narrowing down my health insurance options. At this point it’s down to CIGNA and Pacific Cross. For me (65, male, one pre-existing: hypertension) Pacific Cross’ premiums are substantially lower than CIGNA’s. Looking for feedback, experiences, etc. on which of these two is better to work with (especially when it comes to paying claims which I hope I never submit, but also customer service, premium increases, ease of policy renewal, etc.). Thanks.
