Has anybody done a border run to Cambodia at Ban Pakkad cross border recently? I prefer to drive myself, cross the border and come back to Thailand. Is it to much hassle doing it by oneself? Is it better to hire an agent in the border? Thank you in advance.

Suppose I get a non-O extension inside Thailand that doesn't require insurance, what should I expect to pay for a local insurance that covers the basic issues let's say a traffic accident, a heart's attack, etc?

Hi there, I've been reading through this forum and it looks like the 40k/400k insurance needed to apply for a non O-A retirement visa is worthless. Does anyone know about an affordable health insurance that covers major health issues? Age range 60-65. Thanks in advance.

You are right, I wanted to say a visa extension based on retirement. So, I will have to stay in the kingdom during 12 months on visa runs before applying for a non O-A extension based on retirement. My embassy doesn't provide income letters.

Hi there, I would like to apply for a Non Immigrant O-A Retirement Visa inside Thailand based on 65.000 THB monthly deposit. For how long do I have to make monthly bank transfers prior to submit the application at the Immigration Office? What kind of health insurance is required? Thanks for your advice.
