  1. Those meaningless, almost mocking platitudes are getting really annoying. News about waste issues: "Concerns about the pristine nature of Phuket..." → Trash is everywhere. News about reckless Russian drivers: "Concerns about the well-known safety of Phuket..." → Hit-and-runs happen daily, no respect for the rules. News about illegal activities: "Police are stepping up efforts to maintain Phuket's good image..." → Illegally working Russians on every corner. News about black sludge draining into the ocean: "Citizens concerned about Phuket’s world-renowned white sandy beaches..." → Beaches are filthy, covered in plastic and trash, with untreated wastewater pouring straight into the sea. Enough with the empty phrases. Stop trying to sell your readers for fools.
  2. Yeah, it is getting worse by the day. People lack decency, trying to scam, cheat, lie everywhere without the tiniest feeling of remorse or respect. No admitting of wrongdoing whatsoever. Look at the news, people destroying police chains, ignoring police checkpoints, pissing and <deleted>ting everywhere, scamming and not paying restaurants, taxis fares etc.
  3. Two deaths under similar circumstances suggest a strong likelihood of foul play. Consuming what were most likely spiked drugs or drinks could be the cause. While a single death might be dismissed as random, the recurrence points to a concerning pattern.
  4. As long as the 'money-first' mindset dominates, meaningful change is unlikely. While I believe change will come, it will take decades to unfold. Historians a century from now may look back on our era as the 'Trash Era'—a time when the Earth was at its most polluted and degraded.
  5. Unbelievable how many morons are on this planet. Basically a wild animal that can speak.
  6. I visited Nai Harn last weekend, and it was heartbreaking to see how much it has deteriorated in just a few years. The once-pristine beach is now overrun with hordes of tourists lounging on sunbeds and crowded under umbrellas. Trash is scattered everywhere, and the sand itself seems to be about 30% microplastic particles. The nearby water reservoir and the small stream on the side are in a deplorable state, filthy beyond belief. It’s hard to imagine that not long ago, this was a prestigious lagoon, renowned for its natural beauty. Now, it feels like nothing more than an overrun garbage dump.
  7. And not to mention the extremely obvious image enhancement that has taken place. Further, from those birds eye's views you can't see all that trash and human waste and neglengence that has been going on all phuket beaches.
  8. where is the video? Just opened this thread for seeing some street brwl.
  9. The wreckage however indicates that speed on impact was somewhere in that area.
  10. Gotta agree. Let the well mannered Russians kill themselves, fight fire with fire. Blyat
  11. It is free. However, This site has nothing to do with spiritualism etc. It is a pure money making machine, and managed extremely bad as such. It is an iconic site on Phuket, for sure rakes in a lot of money through taxi mafia comssions, souvenirs and buddha related merchendise and they still can not finish the construiction which is ongoing for over a decade.
  12. From my experience, the Chinese are generally feeling entitled walking like the pavement belongs to them. Not inching a mm. So, my guess is that dude just didn't inch either and they bumped their shoulder into each other. The guy was OK with it, but the entitled Chinese women were offended because they intrinsically believe he has to make way for them. Just my theory. 😄
  13. Yep, absolutely. I mean, if it at least the prices would be cheap to compensate for all the bull<deleted>. But no, quite the opposite.
  14. That beach is too nice, can't be Phuket. //EDIT: There is no trash on the beach, can't be Phuket.
  15. I don't know a negotiation can turn heated if there is nothing on the line. If he asks too much which she is not willing to pay then that is the end of the negotiation. She can either turn around and leave or pay a higher price. I can imagine her being hysterical and feeling entitled and screaming at that tailor guy which led to the slap.
