it was stated that citizens of countries with a tax agreement would not be not be involved, my income (UK) is already taxed in the UK, my earnings over the years was already taxed, can't speak for everyone of course - some might be laundering money here which would never hit a bank anyway - good luck taxing that
perhaps concentrating on earners in Thailand Thai and foreign who have incomes here would be a better approach
You do realize laundering money requires a bank right? It's kind of the whole point.

Happens all the time in Samui usually for hours. I downloaded the PEA app and file outages and dips there every time. I have filed dozens and dozens in a short time. They actually respond quickly and often call to ask me specifics about what's going on and how many people are affected. If I hear a transformer explode or something they might find useful I include it in my description. I don't think they can stop outages but the sooner they get notified the better. It's also convenient for paying my bill every month and tracking my usage etc.

This is not just earned income or capital gains. It seems to mean any funds that "in come" to Thailand will be considered income and taxed, including from personal savings.
And this would confirm it. Wise transfers from a personal savings accounts outside Thailand would then be considered taxable income.
We'll see, but I suspect requiring expats to file Thai tax refund forms every year to maybe get back some of the 15% on their savings they brought in over the year may result in a good number moving elsewhere.
Expats living on their savings and interest, not earning enough to pay tax in their home countries, may not find the relevant tax treaties to be relevant.
They can't force people to transfer money in like 65000 a month and then say ok now that's taxable income. If that precedent is set they could just say ok now you must transfer in 100000 and the raise it every year to generate more taxes.

It says it would apply to tax residents which most of you are not. If you are not working and earning and filing tax returns here this does not apply to you.

I am not sure of US Embassy policy, but I believe they are not a problem. If willing to pay, you can request a passport replacement at any time. If you want, damage the passport a little. However, I think you can just tell them the passport contains embarrassing stamps that you do not want visible to immigration officials when traveling. I think it is a legitimate justification for the replacement.
Thai Immigration is another matter. I just do not think it is smart to draw attention to the fact that you want to cover up your immigration history as reflected in your old passport. It is asking for trouble when you will usually have no problems if you simply proceed normally.
Well I do know. I don't post guesses here like everyone else. He wanted to know how to replace a lost passport not advice on when a new passport can be requested. There are no time limits for requesting a passport that was not lost or stolen.

Have you checked out the possibility to make a chamber yourself? Tons of sulutions out there with small hacks can help you alot.
Im going to make myself a wine chamber and curing chamber, and have looked around in youtube for possible solutions thats fits my purposes.
I am building a chamber myself. That's the whole point of my inquiry. But why would I build a box with aircon and insulation and sealed doors when they already exist in the form of a small fridge? I can just drill a few holes in a fridge, add a humidifier and de humidifier a few sensors and exterior temp/moisture controls. Not trying to reinvent the wheel. My only issue is finding a fridge that is not too large and doesn't sacrifice square footage to a built in freezer. I know they exist in Thailand. Yet they are seemingly rare. The worst part is no matter where I ask everyone keeps pointing to regular freezer fridge combos as if their hearing and reading ability somehow can't follow this simple concept despite showing photos of examples. I have a Thai friends scouring the internet too and every seller keeps insisting they have what I want then offer nothing but freezer fridge combos. Wine and beverage coolers are either too big or too small. I know what I want and need and I know it exists. The only issue is finding it. It's really quite amazing in a world that now revolves almost completely around written information suddenly no one can read.

You would need a police report for the US Embassy in Bangkok. So I guess you could go lie to the police then lie to the Embassy.

I went to the hospital because it was causing pain and a misaligned bite. Don't bother. Take an anti inflammatory med for a few day. Mine was actually cause by swelling connected to an ear infection. A friend of mine once had terrible pain in his rear right jaw and tooth. The dentist drilled and drilled and found nothing. Turned out to be ear wax.

Before it was legal there was one Rasta bar in Samui where everyone smoked freely. Must've been owned or "authorized" by the BIB. After they legalized it, they went out of business immediately. When the envelopes stop flowing watch the laws get more stiff.

If you no longer live here what do you need a local DL for? You can use your home country DL and international permit
Not always. My home DL expired during Covid and because of the time lapse now I would have to live there for months to restart the entire process and finalize it. I can use my Thai DL and IDP at least if I need one outside the Kingdom.

When?
Vegans have been very political for a very long time (decades).
Nobody who could be reasonably described as 'girl' could possibly be old enough to have started anything - look to those in PETA and similar organisations.
Not all of them of course.....
I had a gf who used to donate to Peta all the time. She was also a huge dog lover also. I asked her if she was at all conflicted by supporting Peta despite their their advocacy for a pet free world. Let's just say Peta's coffers got a little lighter that year.

Good question ????
name change at this age ????
I can't speak for him but I am getting dual citizenship and the new country will be using my birth name which is different from my current passport. While it should be ok it would be better if everything matched. Naturally I needed to think about Thailand before modifying my current nation passport and it's effect on my visa and Thai banking etc. After research I decided to deal with problems if they arrise rather than rock the boat prematurely. Bottom line is he should have researched this thoroughly before making a change, not after but also it is not always an indication of being surreptitious. One thing for sure is that Thailand will make it as difficult and expensive as possible for him.

Between 6 and 16 degrees Celsius, with a humidity of anywhere between 70 to 85 percent is controlled by humidifier and dehumidifiers are controlled by sensors mounted outside the fridge. Temperature is also override and controlled externally. Some examples below. The top two are perfect size and have no freezer as you can see. It eliminates the need to cut out sections with a saws all making a mess of it.
