Before the Covid pandemic, there were minivans from the Udon Thani airport to Nong Khai after every flight arrived. I think they were like 150 baht. Are these operating again since more flights have resumed?

My friend and I would like to go to Koh Chang from Pattaya in a couple days. Please what is the best/cheapest way? Where does the transport leave from, what times and how much is it? Cheers

Hello: is anyone familiar with a quality shop that replaces iPhone batteries in Pattaya? My iPhone XS Max‘s battery needs to be replaced. I would prefer not to go to an authorized Apple repair center because it will be very expensive.

@BudRight I don't like this either or that we are made to feel "other" in so many different ways - I find Thailand to be quite xenophobic to foreigners and this becomes more clear the more advanced you become at the language. Don't pay much mind to the other posters insulting you, this is generally a very toxic forum.

How can official government Covid numbers be accurate?
AventurasEnMadrid replied to AventurasEnMadrid's topic in Bangkok
Who said anything about anyone being worried. -
Last night I went to a mostly Thai frequented nightclub I won't specify but that requires you to take an ATK rapid Covid test before entering. The security guards told me that out of every 100 people who take the test to get into the nightclub, 7 or 8 are turned away because they test positive. How can the official government numbers provided be accurate? I'm making what I consider a very likely assumption when I say that many of the people who test positive before entering a nightclub do not then report it to the government, hospital, other official body.... Any thoughts?

Cheap Laundry near Central-WalkingStreet area?
AventurasEnMadrid replied to AventurasEnMadrid's topic in Pattaya
This laundry is coin operated right? Are there dryers there as well? Thank you @scubascuba3 -
Does anyone know either a coin washing machine+dryer facility I can access myself? I would need a dryer too, not just a washing machine. Or a laundry shop for 40 baht/kilo max.? Cheers

I need to renew my 30 day exempt stamp tomorrow or Tuesday. What is the latest you would recommend arriving at Immigration? Cheers
-
I'm here on a 30 day visa exempt stamp and would like to extend another 30 days, on Monday. In order to make things go as smoothly as possible at Immigration, is there a form I should fill out prior or anything I need before going to the Immigration office, other than my passport and 1900 baht? Thank you in advance.

Please what is the best exchange shop in Pattaya for USD>THB?

The way this article is written is absurd. I was there as I am currently staying on KSR and tons of restaurants and bars were starting the water fights and locals made up perhaps 75-80% of people using waterguns, throwing water from buckets, hoses etc. It was packed and police arrived around 11:30 PM. Anyway, police come every night to KSR in a show of force at which time the music stops and tables are removed from outside...then they open up again when the police leave.

Renewing a 30 day stamp?
AventurasEnMadrid replied to AventurasEnMadrid's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thank you for the helpful information as usual @ubonjoe. Is that 60 day covid 19 extension a pretty sure thing or do you need to demonstrate some sort of reasoning for the covid extension? Are proof of funds needed? -
Renewing a 30 day stamp?
AventurasEnMadrid posted a topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Hello: I'm here on a 30 day exempt stamp (UK citizen). Is it currently possible to renew this without leaving the country? If so, up to how many months? Cheers. -
Cheers. That's exactly what I found out when I came yesterday. The minivan from Ekkamai dropped me off right next to the pier, super convenient. Then I had to wait an hour for the public ferry for 30 baht (or I had the option of a speedboat for 130 baht). Good vibes in Koh Larn. It's a bit busy but very nice people and beaches.

Thanks @webhost@KhunBENQ& @jacko45k for the great advice! I already have accommodation from Agoda (600 baht/night for what looks to be a basic but nice place), but if you guys have any thoughts on restaurants or bars you liked there, best beaches to check out, hiking trails, or anything else that comes to mind about Koh Larn, I'm all ears.

Thanks @jacko45k, do you know if that baht bus service will drop me off close to the ferry? Or do you know about how much a Grab/Bolt would be from the place they drop me off to the ferry?
