  3. Problem is two pensions,one with company pension address, one (OAP) with another address. for tax payers and (IM one) Your main address will default to company pension address,but no stress as OAP will not be affected,tax authorities will do nothing
  4. Middle eastern countries few years ago had compulsary medical insurance,then at age 65 it was dropped,do not know if still implemented

  9. What I have most definately noticed in UK especially are the meet ups aimed at active elderly. Social groups,just pile in and get noticed,now xmas is almost on us choice unlimited,walking/trekking/talking ,batting the breeze...even one ,breafast in local pub,hop on coach ,go for a p.iss up in hills and dales,special movie hall,free food. Seems Im missing something

  13. Friend.. healthy 84,left Thailand for eye operation in UK 18months ago now along with Thai wife.....stuck there due to covid...now new insurance demand, he never will get back to Thailand,plus his property/possessions(cars/bikes) wasted As you say impossible for the likes of him

They are all going to close, jumping through hoops just to get here, expensive must have medical insurance,(of course not if young),but then not much money there, then the property market deader than the Dodo,demolish it Thailand as major retirement destination is finished,but then so is Thailand et al
