Edward Snowden receives Russian citizenship and lives peacefully in Russia while Julian Assange rots in a British or US prison. Irony of choosing the right country. Nobody is drafting Snowden. Ukes are being annihilated en masse in vain attacks, not spared at all by the Kiev regime that has commands to fight to the last Ukrainian. Even Ursula von der Lying of Europe said about 100 000+ KIA in the Uke army in a rare glimpse of truth but quickly retracted her tweet thereafter. So yeah, Snowden’s help is not needed.

For many, Thailand’s UN vote on Russia still a puzzle

Betting a farm on Poland biting off a good chunk of Ukraine’s western territory in the near historical future will be a wise agriculture expanding strategy. -
For many, Thailand’s UN vote on Russia still a puzzle
AnotherFarang8 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The longer Ukraine does not surrender unconditionally, the smaller it will end up, simple as that. Four new territories are now part of Russia, added to the Constitution. This CANNOT be reversed. It is actually so crazy to watch how many people believe that Ukraine which is several times smaller than Russia can somehow win. In their wet dreams only. Russia has the resources to fight indefinitely long. Russia is starting serious action only now having given up all hope for negotiations. Which means only one thing, Ukraine will keep shrinking. -
For many, Thailand’s UN vote on Russia still a puzzle

One doesn’t need to belong to political circles to not be brainwashed. All it takes is some curiosity, research skills and critical thinking. Knowing history and culture of the region helps immensely though. Covid time was an IQ test. Now is another IQ test re situation in Ukraine. Both events brought massive brainwashing. -

US will throw out Ukraine after using it to the full potential, after it is no longer beneficial to the interests of US. Everyone knows that, I mean political circles, not common brainwashed populations. So Thailand did absolutely correct not taking sides. -
Thailand targets Indian tourists for post-pandemic rebound
AnotherFarang8 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If farangs are unable to force their governments to stop committing collective economic and social suicide ruining those who they must serve theoretically, Thailand will be targeting more sensible countries. No significant numbers of farang tourists can be expected to come, they will be busy trying to survive in home countries. -
They are ethnic Russians who lived in these territories centuries before Ukraine claimed independence which only happened 30 years ago as a result of incorrect division of land after the collapse of USSR which lumped together different cultures. These people have no reason to move elsewhere, it is their land, they are majority there. Their grandfathers graves are on this land. They are defending their land from western Ukes and driving them out back to their own western Ukeland.

Thailand is in good hands, it has far-sighted leaders who act wisely. Thailand will do well in the new multi-polar world. This decision of Thailand is one more reason to keep visiting this heavenly country.

The baht feels the weight of strengthening US dollar
AnotherFarang8 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
What is even worse is that there are pyramid schemes built on top of fiat, like pensions. It was an invention that came shortly after creation of fiat monetary system in the last century. Before that pension systems were very limited, available only to few categories of population. This is still the case and advantage for Thailand and other asian countries because when the fiat system comes crashing down (inflated to oblivion) in the next few years, countries with no pension system (and a healthy rate of births where children take care of parents) will be least affected. -
The baht feels the weight of strengthening US dollar
AnotherFarang8 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
A number of largest Asian countries have either stopped buying usd denominated debt or are actively selling it to support national currencies. Next move will be a mass default on their own usd debts to get off the hook and restart/boost economies with no external pressure. Those dollars are going back home to roost to drive up inflation sky high. Many comments in this thread are delusional as to what is really happening. -
Thailand’s central bank is doing the right thing in the current situation (same as many other countries), unloading soon to be worthless western currency reserves to support purchasing power of baht, alleviating inflation pain for people of Thailand. Next obvious thing to do would be to default on its usd debt and start its finances from scratch in the new multi-polar world. Thailand can and will be self-sufficient with a strong and respected currency.

Thailand fully reopens from 1 October 2022

This is a net positive for society, probably the only positive from the whole Covid saga. -
Thailand’s currency weakens to 38 baht per US dollar
AnotherFarang8 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Debt ridden fiat currencies are starting to fall noticeably now. Central banks of the world one by one give up on their promises to hawkishly fight inflation, instead they restart Quantitative Easings aka money printing. European CB back in July, British CB yesterday, Japan has been doing it for a long time. Fed is the strongest duck in a row but at some point rates will be so high that debt payments can no longer be served, and Fed will fold too and restart injecting cash on the scale that Covid time injections will look a child’s play, to avoid cascading bankruptcies. If you think you know inflation you have seen nothing yet. -
I am aware of lots of sensationalising news, many of which end as fake or partially true at best. The one we discuss is not coming from an official source. There is a reference to an opinion of a lawyer, nothing more. Anyone can have an opinion. Quoting opinions, especially if you omit very important details, does not make it reality.

Finally, 2 years and 6 months later. Now we, who resisted taking the vaccine cocktail, and patiently waited for the “old normal”, which is the only kind of normal, can think about a well deserved holiday just like the good old days.
