Hi all, We just booked a flight from Bkk to Europe, departure 28 this month. My current visa entry allowed me to stay until 28th. I'm on multiple 1 year non-o valid till August. I'm thinking about a bounce to Lao (easy border in Loei province) before 28th to get 90 days more to avoid overstay if the flight is delayed, canceled, or whatever could happen. My question is more like a poll: 1. Is that a bit paranoid ? 2. Is it the secured way to choose, a plan B to avoid additionnal problems in case of problems ? And finally, can you get an extension in Suvarnaphum ? Thanks!

Thanks. So, the 400k must have been on the account minimum 2 months before you apply, right? I just read in Ventiane Times that Lao Airline will open a new route Bangkok - Savannakhet in March. Hi, thanks for the different comments. I just made my application today for non-o. Nothing special or new regarding the documents required. Don't forget the originals, a nice guy just before me in the queue was denied, no original documents. And DO NOT GO on Thursday like me. Many people, most on agency visa runs. I arrived around 07:30 at the ambassy and get out at 11:40 ... ???? hard

Hi all, Maybe planning a visit to Savanakhet thai consulate after tomorow for a non-o multiple. Wife and kids will not come with me. Does required documents list changed compare to pre-covid times? I have to add I was on yearly non-o extension last three years. Could it make a bad impression (changing modus of legally staying). Thanks!
