Blurry lines between the two though. I find drunk blue collar Brits/Aussies tourists to be way more volatile and (with a seemingly much lower standard of education) than the bear wrestler tourists from similar demographics.

It's as good as it gets given my financial situation, so in that respect I am thankful to this country and the lifestyle it allows me to live.

If I had what I consider "real F-You money" (about US$20m+) I'd be on the first plane out and off to the Caribbean.

I think this is what the govt gets wrong about wanting/focusing on "ultra high value" tourists/long-term expats.....people with serious money to spend on holidays can find much better destinations.
