As a previous poster said he mentions Singapore - one of the richest countries in the world, so they hardly need enticing with financial incentives. "Singapore has administered at least 8,517,113 doses of COVID vaccines so far. Assuming every person needs 2 doses, that’s enough to have vaccinated about 74.9% of the country’s population". Only 6.7% of the Thai population have been fully vaccinated, (yet that buffoon Anutin states that Thailand is well on the way to herd immunity - keep smoking that grass rich boy), and over 23% have received 1 dose according to The Thaiger - can you see where I am going here? Wake up TAT - people will not return in any significant numbers until such times that you inoculate the majority of your population REGARDLESS OF NATIONALITY! We all know that you are all desperately hanging onto your overpaid and underworked jobs by making such futile claims but sadly most of the population now has a brain and is not suppressed as it has in the past. If someone was to breakdown who that 6.7% are - 10 to 1 bet that it's the Armed Forces, Politicians and bum lickers, Royal Thai Police and the VIT's (VERY important Thais - and there a lot of those - so they think)!

If you live in Thailand and have been here for any length of time you should know what to expect TiT! Thais first forever! The all important politicians, the Army, Police, Navy and Air Force. Then the VIT (the Very Important Thais) then the business people with money and their staff. Then and only then the frontline workers - in healthcare, hospitals, etc. (they should be first)! Thailand plays the under developed country card whenever it suits them - remember the tsunamis - 2004 and 2011. They played the poor under developed country with no money for disaster control. All across the world we were urged to send money and help poor Thailand and the poor Thai people... forget the Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras, Chile, Ecuador and Columbia. A year later the international community asked where all of the money went and were stonewalled with blank faces by the Thais. A decent percentage went into the corrupt's pockets and was 'unaccounted for'. When the Bangkok Post did a survey on 23/09/2011 "64% of all adults questioned think corruption is acceptable if they or their country benefit. 70% under 20 would cheat or bribe to pass exams or win games" - that's two thirds ladies and gentlemen! Corruption in Thailand is a way of life - the politicians do it and constantly feather their own nest - look at all of the ex politicians. They are all filthy rich and their children act as if butter would not melt in their mouths. TAT doesn't know anything else, the armed forces, police, judiciary - that's the real pandemic in Thailand. Sadly it is the only the Land of Smiles when they are taking money from you. I know that there are some decent, honest, trustworthy, hard working Thai citizens out there but their leaders tend not to set the best example.

Would it be possible for someone (perhaps a government source that we could all believe... ok, ok - I'll be serious now! Please don't ask anyone from TAT as we all know that they still believe in Father Christmas and just tell fairy tales) to list all of the vaccine donations that Amazing Thailand has received from China, the US, UK, Japan, Russia, France, Switzerland and indeed all the other handouts that they have received and then compare that with the numbers of those nationalities that have received one or two doses. Now that would make interested reading. Then we could have the PM, DPM Anutin and their assembled yes men all looking down their noses at the dirty, uneducated, stupid farang! Because that is how they treat us - as if we all have straw growing out of our ears. Well I have news for you - it's hair and many of us have invested heavily in Thailand bringing our savings, pensions, launching company's, buying property, paying taxes and employing lots of Thai people. Please do not treat us like we are idiots as most of us had a far better education than you did. Have travelled to more countries. Speak more languages and have contributed to society as a whole more than 95% of the Thai population.

Sadly TAT believe their own hype but keep announcing this tripe just to protect their own jobs. Have they slimmed down their staff by drastic numbers like all of the businesses that they are in existence to promote - have they hell! In any commercial company in a western developed country Yuthasak Supasorn (supposed Governor), Tanes Petsuwan, Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya, Siripakorn Cheawsamoot and Somradee Chitchong (the token woman on the executive) all laud around the country on their overpaid, unearned salaries as if they are something special. whilst in reality anyone with an ounce of common sense knows that they really haven't got a clue. They should do the honourable thing and resign and stop feeding us all this BS! TiT
