Had he stopped at "Nobody knows one way or the other" you'd have a better point.
More gatekeeping from the gatekeeper.

I didn't say you were lying. I said your comments were unproveable.
The implication being that im lying; that I couldn't possible have the opinions I have and be vaccinated.

So youre the gatekeeper of debate and a psychic who knows what people really think.

What facts have I thrown away? Unconfirmable assertions may in reality be facts, or maybe not. The point is that there is no objective way to confirm them. So they're best left out of the conversation since they obviously have no evidentiary value.
Yeah, but that didn't stop you from implying (baselessly) that im lying about my vaccination status. So you can make "unconformable assertions" and they get to stick but Im somehow a liar and my "unconfirmable assertions" should be discarded.

If you say yes, you will open up questions about the place that you should know and that you can't look up on Google.
Im not going to expose myself to interrogation just because some random person on the worlds most annoying forum is unsatisfied with my posts. Take it or leave it but ive got nothing to prove to you or anyone else.
PS:

No mask needed either. Few bar girls wearing masks. Only when entering 7/11 or Family Mart. That's about it.

Just now, placeholder said:As I pointed out , your claim to be vaccinated is unproveable, therefore irrelevant. But what I do see is this claim that because there has been some uncertainty, then little or nothing is known for sure. This is nonsense.
So youre the gatekeeper of debate, throwing away facts you dont like to stay on a point that you fabricated.

Did it cross your mind that maybe Im both vaccinated and skeptical? There comes a point in all this (which I reached a few months ago) where a person just flat-out stops listening or caring. This has been almost 2 years of continual and nonstop moving goalposts and I think more and more people are just about over it.

More denialism. A typical ant vaxxer ploy. There's plenty that is now. For example that the unvaccinated are 11 times more likely to die than the vaccinated.
Im vaccinated, so, try again.

Do you live in Phuket? Actually, don't bother. Your observation has been disputed by the members on this forum who actually live here. It's so obvious that you don't live here, so you are making stuff up. So I feel justified in calling you dishonest.
The members of this forum represent a minuscule - almost immeasurable its so tiny and insignificant - microcosm of bored, lifeless expats with opinions bigger than their intelligence.
So if you or others want to use the "members of this forum" as proof of your claims, go right ahead. Doesn't mean your right, it just means you only want to hear and see what you want, while denying and ridiculing everything else.
Even now theres thousands and thousands of expats in Phuket, so the 2 or 3 elderly posters here mean nothing.- 1

No fear of Covid is in line with being ignorant to the facts.
What "facts" am I being "ignorant" to? Far as i can tell you guys just get emotional when someone disagrees and then either hit the report button, make huge leaps and assumptions that are wrong, or a combination of both.

This may not be true.
Nobody knows one way or the other. "The science" has been "changing" non-stop since the pandemic began. Its been almost 2 straight years of speculative reporting and scientific studies, so no point in speculating any further.

Calling me a liar eh?
Just because youre upset that people dont follow your dogma doesn't mean they are liars or that they are wrong. Just because youre scared of covid, doesn't mean everyone else needs to be.

Mainly because it's true, the Thais are really sticking to the mask rule, say what you like about other stuff but it's very rare to see a Thai with out 1.
Maybe you guys don’t get out much, and when you do it’s only to lotus or 7-11. I’m out all day long at the beach and eating at restaurants and mask wearing by everyone is probably sub 50%. I see it all day long every day.

Your last sentence is simply nothing more than confirmation bias. You pay more attention to foreigners than you do locals because you already have it in your head that they are the problem and you're fixated. The reality is that mask religious mask wearing like you describe is the minority rather than the standard.

You see them everywhere, panic buying in the supermarkets, parking in disabled bays, using disabled toilets, doing u-turns on the High road, double parking close to an atm machine, going on foreign holidays during a pandemic, ignoring the 2m rule. Now refusing to wear face masks, pathetic people. I don't want their virus loaded breath droplets in my air! ????
See, this is a perfect example of what Ive been talking about this whole thread. Silly people dreaming up fictitious scenarios in their heads and then getting ridiculously and unreasonably angry about them.
And the entertaining part is that it consumes their lives whole as soon as they leave their homes.
So much easier to get vaccinated and not give a damn what other people are doing. You know why? Ill tell you: No matter what you do, no matter how obsessed you are, and no matter how much you want to police people around you, you will eventually catch covid. Its not going away just because people put a piece of cloth over their mouth & nose.
So you can either live your life and not care about what other people are doing (because its not your responsibility or your business anyway) or you can live in a perpetual state of fear and anger and still catch covid.

What did I say that’s “anti-vax”?
Just because I disagree with peoples cult-like mentality and emotional manipulations doesn’t mean I’m anti-vax. I just means I don’t agree with the lunatic positions some of you have.

2 hours ago, KarenBravo said:Isn't it safer to err on the side of caution and wear a mask, or are you taking the Braveheart approach?
Just get vaccinated and move on with your life.
Seems like theres a tiny minority of people who are so fixated on covid that they will never move on, yet for whatever reason they are the loudest and most insufferable and want everyone around them to know it.
Covid is not going away. Nobody is going to stop the spread. Masks will not stop this disease. Vaccinations will not stop the disease.

"Sorry to say, if you choose not to be vaccinated, we will make life extremely tough for you."
Who'd of thought a year and a half ago that we'd be here, governments forcing people to take injections and openly threatening their livelihoods.
Boggles the mind that people put up with it, and theres even people who cheer it on.
By all means get vaccinated, but if for some reason you dont want to, that should also be your choice.

Just as long as you keep all those feelings & pent-up rage to yourself, up to you. Just dont walk around with a chip on your shoulder and pretend to be the mask police, judging people.
Just enjoy your holiday. You're vaccinated and have nothing to worry about.

Could a third dose of vaccine be the charm?

It definitely does, but theres an unfortunate number of people who just won't move on no matter what and will spend their days ridiculing and punishing people for not listening to their <deleted> any longer.
