A Vietnamese friend of mine wants to transfer about $650 USD (equivalent in dong) to his daughter in the US who has a work permit but needs some urgent cash. He has an e-wallet for making payment for goods inside Vietnam but he cannot figure how to send money overseas. He says there are so many barriers, and he is not an expert Googler, that he is just lost. I suggested getting a crypto account but I have no idea how to do that, as I'm a westerner. I mean can an e-wallet be connected to a crypto exchange in Vietnam? Is there anyonwe here that can tell me how, or is it possible, to do that. I suggested crypto as there seems less barriers in general. Any help greatly appreciated.

I am not in Vietnam and am trying to help someone who is in Vietnam. They have been told it is not possible unless the person in Australia is a relative and proof is required. Seems very strange. Paypal is not an option in their case. So to reiterate...the money must go directly to an Aust. bank account. Thanks
