Law or not. Then people are tired of this circus. Thai and Farang need to get back to a "Normal" or almost normal life. Yes, alcohol has been blamed for many things. But that it should actually evoke Covid is a joke. Looks like that the so-called Government think it is. We can all buy alcohol in various stores. But can’t get a glass of wine or a beer together with our food when we are taking our mrs. for a dinner at a restaurant. Where is the logic?

‘Phuket Sandbox’ welcomes 33,000+ arrivals during 1 July – 16 September
Farangdk replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
Welcomed 33,059 international arrivals in the first two and a half months. Wow huge number. ????In my opinion then this so-called sandbox is a Laurel and Hardy show. -
Come on Thailand.. People must adapt to this Chinese virus. People need to learn to live with this virus. The virus will be around for a long time, maybe forever. Open Thailand now. People need to start making money and get some food on the table, start to have a life, many lost their homes and living on the streets. There is only one way for Thailand and that is to open Thailand. Bring in the tourists/ people who have already been vaccinated and without any quarantine. Get more and more Thais vaccinated in a hurry and test all the time and lot more. Right now, it is a joke and Thailand is more or less falling apart. And Thailand, please stop all your Mickey Mouse laws and regulations regarding expats and tourists.

Wasuthon is being deported back to Thailand by Danish authorities
Farangdk replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
They should ignore the rules. So where would you draw the line for ignoring rules? It is sad when it is about children. But a rule is a rule. -
Wasuthon is being deported back to Thailand by Danish authorities
Farangdk replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I would like to believe that Denmark has one of the strictest rules regarding refugees and immigrants in the world. Even when it comes to family reunification, Denmark is tough. I would almost guarantee that 90% of the Danish population are happy with that. Those they have taken in now from Afghanistan were some who had worked for Denmark in some way while they were in Afghanistan. -

My wife buy it at Foodland. When I buy wine myself, I always buy Amarone.

I would recommend Mouton Cadet for around 900.

Chinese Embassy Bangkok: Sinovac it is NOT a low quality vaccine
Farangdk replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Of course the Chinese say that. They think everything coming out of their country is so good and great. In my eyes it is all a bunch of <deleted>. So, why should their vaccine be any better. I wouldn't dare to get it. -
I deal with import/ export every day. So, I should know. But regarding the Thai Customs and what to pay for and how much, then we sometime thing it is all up to the Custom officers mood. Also, different on what they see as luxury items and so on. Be aware on what is listed on the inventory list and how many item of each and of course the value. Best thing is to have a good agent/ moving company to handle for you there in Thailand. But also you need to be careful. Too many cowboys around who doesn't know S+++.

Yet another Laurel and Hardy show from that side. People must learn to live with this virus. The virus will stay here for a long time, maybe forever. Open Thailand. If people think that just because they are on a retirement visa (NON O), that there will be no tax etc. can easily be disappointed. Who said that 2 things of each can be imported? Only 1 electrical item of each per container / family may be imported per container / family may be imported. Plus, the Thai Customs got their own rules on what they see as luxury goods. All luxury goods there will be import tax on. Even a returning Thai citizen is only allowed to import. Not always that Thai can import tax free. It depends on length of stay overseas and what is added to the packing list etc. Also, all Buddhist statues/ images need to have import permit. Best things are to find a moving/ shipping company who is into all this. It is a jungle and the Thai Customs at port/ airport got their own rules.
