Possibly, the most ridiculous comment i have ever read. You compare a financial crisis to a global pandemic killing millions, closing economies for 2 years, impoverishing billions and creating a new endemic disease that will put strains on global health care systems for decades because of the debilitating effects it causes. Do you even attempt a touch of reason or rationality before you post CCP propaganda?

Great news for your impending trip as well. When you booked for? -
And 20% of GDP. The sort of moronic post that doesn't realise that the existing social infrastructure can't survive long term without tourist dollars. Certainly not with the tinnies out of 7-11 and 40 baht chicken and rice merchants. Slow economic desolation for slow learners.

Another scene from Dad's Army, "don't panic, don't panic". What's it going to be like when the hordes of tourists allegedly arrive? Define a large cluster? Clueless. -

1 in 20 with of an endemic disease is terrible. Totally dehabilitating for the individual involved and the cost to the health care system in a civilised society. However, it's nice of you to attempt to reply for the original poster. -

What's this got to do with the price of fish? -
What? Your talking in riddles. If you want to go to Thailand, then off you go. Don't try and patronise the rest of us. We love guinea pigs like you. You create the headlines that we'll be laughing at for months to come. "Regional governor orders immediate ban on alcohol and all bars to shut due to Covid spike." The sooner you go, the sooner the headlines. ????

Why would anyone jump through any amount of tedious time consuming administration hoops, queue at airports for up to 5 hours, risk being hospitalised for failing a test, then be "controlled" for 7 days at their destination and still have the possibility that all entertainment venues be shutdown again overnight. That's what you call getting on with your life and a stress free "holiday". I'll get on with my life OK and give it a miss thanks.

It's not a fact. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/health/sajid-javid-long-covid-nhs-b1934861.html -
Pity that 99.9999999% of wealth in Thailand is owned by very few. The most unequal society in SE Asia. Think you will find a large percentage of the population despise the HiSo Bangkok elite. Doubt an Isaan rice farmer is interested in the legal technicalities of condo development but more about a decent price for his rice crop Think your mistaking Thailand for a first world democracy.

The virus isn't going away. When you have a nearly fully vaccinated population, you can open up society and get a drink in a bar. Why worry or obsess about the UK? You jealous that people have their freedom back? This is a forum dealing with Thailand. Instead of the one line snipping, give me something constructive Thailand has done for it's people or other countries during this pandemic?

UK nearly 3 times Thailand's fully vaccinated rate. UK fully open UK testing 1 million people per day versus Thailand"s 40,000. Thailand 76 different provincial governors with 76 different possible responses. Thailand no joined up thinking, no plan, no consistency, no help for it's people, nearly a year behind the vaccine curve ball, begging for vaccine donations and can't even confirm a firm reopening plan.
