Maybe the answer is to slip her a Bt100 note so she can tuck it into where ever, for herself.

Yes, the ladies like that better but mamason will be watching and if she doesnt have a drink mamason will tell her to move on. drinks of juice is 150 baht most places. If lady wants a beer it will be 180 to 200. You wonder why the ladies are getting fat? Too much pop. But, if they drink alcohol drinks, they will be alcoholics very quickly. I know a couple of young ladies that drink beer all the time. They are on contract and must get 70 drinks every 10 days to receive full contract pay. Not good!!!

  2. Ok, since no one is getting it right, here it is. Cesium 137 is one of the weakest isotopes made. Just like cobolt which is not radioactive until an electron is added. Simple term for nucleur fision. Cobalt is used for very thick materials. when exposed you will die very quickly. Anything like Piping, vessels and concrete that are above 2.5 inches thick cobalt will be used. Under will use Iridium which can only penetrate up to 2.5 inches which still would take about 1 hr to xray. Cobalt will take about 6 minutes. Now radioistopes or GAMMA radiation is used for industrial applications. Medical uses X-ray can be turned on or off. Gamma is in what we call a pill and is radioactive forever. It has half lives. So if you have Iridium that is 100 curries, it will be about 50 curries in about 6 months and so on. Cesium is used in power plants to open valves and chutes. Once a level is reached of product, it will automaticcaly open the valve. I believe the max strength is 12 curries. It CANNOT pick up cracks easily so I have never used it in radiography. PS. I have worked over 30 years as a NDE Radiographer Level 2 in power plants and refineries. Hope this helps

  3. This is just another terrible tragedy that should never happen when on holidays. We seem to take more risks when we go on holidays( no helmet, phone, beer) which increases the odds of problems or like here, a bad accident. I see it everyday, I have been riding for over 10 years in Thailand. At night, the bike stays home and this reduces my chances. I drink and if the bike is there, I know I will ride it home so I do not take it. I have been riding for 43 years and been in 2 serious accidents. 16yrs and 23 and once here in Thailand which was minor but, was at night after a few beverages. The rules of the road are just not the same as the west. Here is the biggest problem. You can rent scooters or big bikes without a licence or experience. I wish this guy good luck and lets hope that June 1st this new 300 baht entry levy will cover motor accidents also but I REALLY doubt it. I am sure it will be just for sickness with alot of fine print

  4. It is not illegal to consume in the shop. As stated earlier, as of todays date, there is only a nuisance law and you cannot smell it outside the doors so there will not be any problems. I am a frequent user of the Pothole and it is fantastic. Great lighting, excellent air movement and the staff and owners are great. I was sitting with one of the owners the other day and was vaping. The pre rolled come with tobacco so not sure about the no smoking sign. There is a pool table upstairs which is a nice place to enjoy a few games and a toke. One or two staff members will remain upstairs with you and take your beer orders and rack the balls.

  5. I have read on here the problems users are having. My 90 day report is due July 16th. I just completed it now, July 12. I received a confirmation that it has been received immediately. Is there anything else that will be sent to me? Very easy process if that is all I had to do. Anything to stay away from actually going to immigration

    Thanks in advance

  6. Yes, the price is way too "high". What some of you are not understanding is the difference between flower and bush. The hybred is very potent with a great taste and smell for most of us. The bush is grown outside and you basically get leaves with a very low taste and smell. In Canada they also made the mistake of charging too much and the black market was not put out of business and the prices have come down after 3 years. For a good quality you can pay 2000 baht up to 4000 for 28 grams. The costs are 3 times higher in Canada to produce compared to Thailand so why is the cost here 3 times higher to buy, I think we all know the answer but as anything it is all about supply and demand and when the bud dries it will have to be put on sale

  7. I am afraid that this will continue for at least another generation. Children are taught at a very young age by their parents on how to drive a scooter. No helmets, cross solid lines, merge into traffic without shoulder checks( just stay close to the curb and hope for the best) pull into traffic until the vehicles have to stop. So from the moment a child can stand they ride standing up in front of the driver and learns all the wrong things.

  8. This is a sad time for all. To say I will stay neutral is stating that I am a coward and scared to speak against brutal regimes. Simple as that. It is called freedom and most have just spent 2 years being told what we can and cannot do. Now imagine running away and losing all your lifes work for a brutal dictator. We all know what Putin and XI are capable of and the more countries that stay NEUTRAL just empowers them. Both these clowns need to be taken out and put in front of the world as they are barbarians

  9. What we all need to understand is corruption in the government begins before you even start your first day of work. How did you get that position? Govt jobs are not advertised. You either got it thru family or paying a higher up(promotion) for the job. Example, I dated a girl 10 yrs ago who worked in  a local administration office (uncle was her boss). She would find rental cars for incoming brass and would receive kickbacks from the car dealer and then would have to share with her boss. This 1 example is just the beginning of the ladder up the govt.

Now, regarding immigration, I did my Type O based on retirement for the first time this year. I transferred the money and began the journey. At each stage I was offered an easy way to get it done. Price was 23000 at each stage but being retired I have the time and patience. Finally after 7 trips to immigration I received my 1 yr extension stamp 2 weeks ago.

Now I have a choice. Keep the 800000 in my acct and do it myself again next year or pay anywhere from 10 to 15000 and have an agent do it for me. The only benefit of using an agent is keeping my money generating interest in my bank over seas which at a modest interest would be somewhere around 40000 baht. But, if they were to clean up the corruption and put agents out of business I would be scrambling to get everything in order like having the funds in the account for 2 months before application.

I will struggle with the option but I am already leaning towards keeping the 800000 in my acct here just in case some do gooder trys to change things like this lawyer is doing. It will happen sooner or later
