Does anyone know if the list of required docs for a 1-year extension based on having a Thai wife has changed this year at Samui immigration? Any new papers required? (copied and signed, of course). I'm using the 2021 list now.

Koh Phangan has been FULLY open for months. Bars open and large parties every night. No restrictions at all.

Tragic, but this is like one of those "Florida man...." stories.

Very few foreigners on Koh Phangan wear masks and there has been NO enforcement of the law. Parties every day with hundreds of unmasked tourists.

And are you one of those "the rules shouldn't apply to me" kind of travelers? What's so upsetting to you about my comment? If I don't like the rules of a particular country I simply won't go there. It's about choices and responsibility. Pretty simple.

On Koh Phangan 99% of the Thais wear a mask everywhere, but 50% of the foreigners completely ignore the rules. And the authorities do NOTHING about it.

Not true. Koh Phangan is over 80% vaxxed. It's a small minority of the hippie poseurs that are bitching and moaning about the vaccine. They can all just leave when immigration requires a vax certificate to extend their visas. Good riddance. The majority of the island's residents are sick of these idiots.

I tried to find grass seed a few years ago and was told that only sod farms and golf courses were permitted to buy (import) it. Unavailable to the general public.
