  1. ^ Saturn - notoriously difficult with a bridge cam . . . i've tried many times. sad.png

It is possible though to get reasonable images (disk & rings) but you need multiple stacked images at the right exposure for best results.

not my images . . . but this is the best kind of shot likely from any bridge cam:

i might try again now that the planet is at opposition.

  2. But it s a scam as the birds are trained to return to the cage after a little while.

not quite true . . a scam it may be, but the birds (usually Scaly-breasted Munia's or Tree Sparrows) once released are gone like the wind. They're wild birds, very common, very numerous throughout most of the country & very easily trapped en masse . . individually they're not 'trained to return' at all. Hope you don't mind me just clearing that one up. wink.png

  3. I have nothing to add to this thread. I'm just impressed of the knowledge embedded and shared by our naturalistic members.

It took whopping 6 minutes to get a written reply to a question smile.png

thanks oilinki . . . but they are fairly easy i.d's. I've seen/imaged 100's of them over the years. Pinpointing (i quit) Chonburiram's photo ? now that is something else, Mousehound is probably the best man for this one . .
