I looked at the Visa Application and was confused by two things -must have no criminal record in Thailand and the country of the applicant’s nationality or residence; - must NOT have prohibitive diseases (Leprosy, Tuberculosis, drug addiction, Elephantiasis, third phase of Syphilis) as indicated in the Ministerial Regulation No. 14 B.E. 2535; what type of criminal record documentation are they needing? Thai or USA? How or where do you obtain that? What exactly do they need? medical. You’re US doctor wrote a letter or did they complete a form? thanks in advance for your response

Think you are best off asking a Thai lawyer and pay them a small fee for the correct advise. Just Google one.

Use a booking service. Agoda, Expedia etc… you’re not getting your money back. You might get the Hotel to agree to discount.

Got to love all the entitlement discussion. He is a guest in another country, didn’t follow the rules designed to protect public health during a pandemic. It’s as if people think they are infectious disease experts. If you get a positive PCR test you have to stay in quarantine or isolation until you test negative and the virus is cleared. The most infectious period is the first 3-4 days so if he was retested 4 days later he quite possibly come back negative. No telling how many people he may have infected. If you not wish to follow any rules then go vacation in Somalia.

I am astonished there are people defending him. His story?!!! His story is that he’s a selfish idiot. He knew exactly what he was doing when he left his hotel before getting his test results and IF he did not know then, then he certainly realized it when no Pattya hotels would take him. The Israel health authorities and police aren’t going to be too kind to him either.
