  1. a few meters back I noticed two more signs with more detail about the timing does that mean I can go straight ahead everyday if the time is not between 5PM and 7PM. and on public holidays I go straight all day? i guess motorcycles/scooters not allowed entry at all
  2. I found this sign in front of homepro mandatory left except buses and expressway cars
  3. I guess you are correct guys. I've been unknowingly breaking the rules ????‍♂️ I tried selecting 2 points on either side of the bridge on google maps. the routing took the long way. To be honest, I did not notice any warning signs such as a buses only blue sign.
  4. I have another question relating to red lights if I may... where am I supposed to stop exactly? there is a traffic light, but no road markings such as a stop line? thanks
  5. thanks guys. that was very helpful. i will study your replies carefully. i believe this sign shows rule #3 by Swiss1960 snapped this photo in prom phong area. there was no left turns (translation: left most lane, pass always, careful of vehicles from right)
  6. i notice some cars and motorcycles go through a red light. can someone explain when is this allowed? which lane and type of intersection? I understand turning left on red is mostly allowed. thanks
  7. I have contacted an agent, but I was told they cannot convert to NON-O from another long term visa. I will try to visit Chaengwattana immigration but I doubt they would allow it. I am trying to avoid travel during this time because of multiple PCR tests and 10 day quarantine for the non-vaccinated.
  8. Yes, I will check with them in November. I'm not vaccinated so I rather not travel and have to do the hotel quarantine one more time. Thank you for the link.
  9. Oh no. That is bad news indeed. I guess another option would be to renew my PE visa. I was hoping it might be possible to get a non-o while in Thailand. Thank you for your replies.
  10. Hello, I arrived in January this year with my PE visa. The 5 year visa expired in May. My permission to stay stamp will expire early January next year. I wish to switch to extension of stay based on retirement (age over 50) using the 800,000 baht in bank method. I do not have a bank account yet. What forms do I need to fill out and when is the best time to visit bangkok immigration in my situation. Thank a lot
