  1. It’s fairly quiet, busier on the weekends, 10 baht bar is still open, would recommend staying at the phong phen guesthouse right in the heart of everything budget room with a swimming pool, I’ve just moved house here and find it a good balance of quiet thai life but enough foreigners to stop you getting bored with a ton of things to do, overall it’s a very cheap and beautiful province to live in.
  2. What a dream come true last night lads Looking for somewhere to watch the final in Thailand, can’t make it to UK or to Spain, Currently in Krabi but willing travel to BKK / Pattaya / Phuket anywhere the party is. Any suggestions ?
  3. I think I’ll rent another home and split the rigs 50-50 between here and another place as I don’t want too many eyebrows getting raised, I wrapped one of my racks in silver foil recently and the neighbours must think I’m building a spaceship to go to the moon (which I am hoping the crypto will) thanks for the advice
  4. I’m just using graphics cards a mix between 1660 supers and rx 580’s all mining ethereum, bought most from shopee and Facebook a typical rig has a motherboard with 6-8 pci slots and basic cpu and 8 of these cards, a typical rig costs around 130k baht but generates 18k baht a month of ethereum (at today’s rates) and costs 2-3k of electric giving 15k profit so about 10 months to get ur money back plus u still have all the hardware after, took me about 2 weeks of learning everything crypto and mining related to get it all going then just grew it from there as many people estimate ethereum will go up 2.5x in Price over the next year , would be happy to share more of what I’ve found if anyone is interested, in total I’ve spent £35k now on equipment and I’m pulling in £4k a month once I get my new 4 rigs plugged in, so just to be very sure, pulling 60amps (14kw) on a household meter 15/45 is still safe?
  5. I’m cooling them using 3 extraction fans to suck all the heat out the windows, managing for now yea prob pulling 2kw on this. my monthly electric bill is roughly 25k baht but I’m pulling in around 160k baht from the mining so good profit for now how much would it cost to get 3 phase installed? It’s a pretty normal village I live and the house is rented
  6. Hi I currently live in a home with a 15/45 amp meter. It’s a fairly new house. I have some computer rigs that I use to mine ethereum(like Bitcoin). I had a sub breaker box installed in the bedroom with 2x 30amp breakers which I was using and have everything plugged into. I have just bought some more rigs and want to use a total of 50 amps for the computers and need maybe another 5-10 for the house. can I draw all this with my 15/45 household meter? I asked the pea if I could upgrade to a 30/100 and they told me no. thanks
