  1. Thats better. I was commenting factually and calmly, then you barged in, disregarded any facts and views that didn't conform to your bias, and reacted with anger as soon as I pointed that out. Not cool, and it doesn't set the tone for a meaningful conversation. Anyway. I have no quarrel with anyone in here, and I wish you a good day.
  2. Projecting again I see. You have some real issues man. Take a chill-pill, relax.
  3. Thanks for that one, garzhe. Yes, it remains to be seen how this will all work out in real life. With so many differing tax-agreements, it sounds like a recipe for confusion...
  4. You are the only one arguing here.. and I don't waste my time on brainwashed fanatics. Either you get it, or you don't. You don't. And that's your loss..
  5. Imbalanced is pointing your finger in only one direction, which is what you, and some other posters in here do; Palestinians/Muslims = bad, Israel = good.. There are extremists on both sides, ruining it for the vast majority, who only want to live their lives in peace In 1993 there was a real chance of lasting peace, the Oslo-agreement, which netanyahoo and his ilk successfully sabotaged, leading all the way up till todays war.. I maintain that if the Palestinians were allowed to live lives in peace, dignity and prosperity, Hamas would have no reason to exist..
  6. An extremely simple-minded view and outlook, completely of touch..
  7. You are looking at this the wrong way. Hamas raison d'etre is based on Israel's decades long oppression of the Palestinian people, denying them their own state, and a life in dignity, peace and prosperity. If the Palestinian people had all this, there would be no reason for Hamas to even exist. Anyone who cares enough about the peoples of Israel, Palestine and peace in the Middle East, knows that a two state solution is the only way forwards.
  8. Rather pointless trying to argue anything as complex as this, based on a single photograph, don't you think? (Although, only from a quick look, I saw at least 5 redheads..) There is overwhelming support in the world, including in most Western countries, for a Palestinian state, as well as sympathy for the plight of the Palestinian people. True, the British (and other empires) braindead actions and decisions, created enormous problems and suffering, then and later, in the world, not only in the Middle East, but also in most of the Global South. Just take a look at Africa, for instance, how they simply took a pen a ruler, and 'divided it up' into 'countries', irrespective of thousands of years old local history, traditions, tribal cultures etc..
  9. Ireland is far from alone in supporting and recognising a Palestinian state. Norway and Spain recently did the same, and, in fact, 'as of May 2024, the State of Palestine is recognized as a sovereign state by 145 of the 193 member states of the United Nations' (Wikipedia) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_recognition_of_the_State_of_Palestine In other words, there is an overwhelming international support and recognition for and of a Palestinian state.
  10. You have to be legally married in order to apply for a Non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai national.
  11. More tax treaties are needed, like the ones Thailand has with the Scandinavian countries, to avoid double taxation.
  12. In the real Thailand, outside of places like Pattaya, it is, in fact, very rarely the case. It is a common misunderstanding and a fallacy, for some, to project what they experience in those places onto the rest of Thailand.
  13. If events transpired as according to Mrs 'Mod', then I don't blame the guy for standing up to defend his wife. What happened after was, of course, regrettable..
  14. He even drove his daughter in, or immediately prior to, a drunken blackout. Very nice indeed..
  15. Indeed.. You can't swing a dead cat in Thailand without hitting an ex-special forces/mercenary/secret agent-guy...
  16. The results of this poll, in this forum, are clear. At the time of writing, 6 voted for putins aggression, 46 voted against putins aggression. Glad to see that sanity still prevails in here. It's also quite obvious, that the putin-acolytes in this forum are very few, though, very loud. I wonder what drives them to spend so much time and energy, defending a murderous, corrupt and oppressive dictator and despot..?
  17. Let the one without sin throw the first stone, and so on.. I'm sure you never made any mistakes in your life..?
  18. Feel sorry for the woman, and I think everybody should cut her some slack. She has served faithfully for 30 years, presumably without incident. She had a bad day, and some bad luck, and that's it.
  19. Thanks for that Cabradelmar. Wow, 15 years.. Don't blame him for not wanting to go back to Iraq though. Sweden sounds nicer..
  20. So close to a 1000.. No wonder he was upset and started 'coaxing'. What's the record for overstay anyway?
  21. I absolutely hate jet-skis. In my opinion, they should be banned altogether. An absolute annoyance, and a danger to swimmers, divers, kayakers etc., and apparently, also to those piloting the vile things, some with zero experience in doing so..
  22. Every US-president in the modern age has sent weapons to Israel. Something I personally disagree with btw. Your hero, Trump, for instance, gave 3-4 billion dollars in military aid to Israel and Netanyahoo every year during his term. Many of these weapons were used in the clashes with Gaza back then, and in the current war.
