Anyone that went the north chiang mai university route?
-
My question was assistance with a visa agent that I can chat to
-
I know what I need to do and have been doing....

Last visa was canceled, correct process followed at immigration. Went home for 3 months and entered thailand visa exempt end January

Do anyone know of an agent that can assist with Education visa to study thai at north chiang mai university? It is a 15 month visa.

Immigration officer missed some pages when stamping. Can you request that the missed pages be used for future stamps?

I have been reading about foreigners being liable for tax if they have been in Thailand for 180 days of the year.
Will this include foreigners that have been staying on a tourist visa, visa exempt, extensions of these. If you are staying in total of more than 180 days on these kind of entries will you also be liable to pay tax?

Hi, anybody made use of fast track services at Bangkok airport? Are the immigration officials friendlier at the fast track counters?

Why are you concerned about having an ED visa? Lots of people have had ED visas in the past, or was yours something dodgy to be concerned about?
No not dodgy, attended classes and all that, but just with history of stay in Thailand and now wanting to return visa exempt after 3 months out of the country I trust I will not have issues entering.

Thank you all. Yes a bit concerned about history, but will be out of country just over 3 months when I enter again.
I have south african passport and cannot do evisa and that is a problem as there isn't an embassy in the city where I live.
Will make sure all requirements met for visa exempt.

Previously on education visa and extension of stay canceled at immigration before leaving in October last year.

And if you enter Thailand after 3 months and want to enter visa exempt?

Hi, how are you identified at immigration at airport, more specifically Bangkok airport? With passport number? I have read countless times that even if you have a new passport all your information is on the immigration system. When renewing passport your passport number change so how exactly are you identified?
Just something that's been puzzling me.

Looks like you can be denied entry even with a SETV?

Good day, would like to enter Thailand via Bangkok airport on visa exempt on 29 January 2024. I left Thailand on 22 October 2023. Stayed in Thailand since May 2021 until I left in October. Stayed visa exempt, extension, covid extension and education visa. Do you think I will have issues entering in January, 3 months after leaving?

Good day
Leaving Bangkok in about 3 weeks.
Looking for accommodation for about 3 weeks in the Phra Khanong / Onnut area. Looking for something reasonably priced.

How long do you wait for response after submitting 90 day report online? Submitted Thursday last week.

Good day, need some advise on 90 day report and tm30. Current lease expire on 19th January and planning to move into hostel / hotel until find another place to stay. Extension to stay and 90 day report coming up that need to do be done on Friday 20th. Can this new place (temporay lodging) file the new TM30 and go with that one to immigration to do extension of stay and 90 day report?

Need to do visa run from Bangkok next week. Any one done one recently? Haven't done one before and assistance as to how to go about it will be highly appreciated. Extension of stay for ED visa has come to an end and would like to get visa exempt or tourist visa to enter Thailand again.
Thank you

tbh your post is full of misleads.. and also some interesting infos about the visa situation..
you mentioned that you got education visa but then you said you got it for 8 months because of educational 2nd test which is... doesnt make any sense. is it like you found a new work to teach and they ask you to take teacher license exam? is that what you mean by educational visa? if so.. thats totally wrong. you can get a letter from the minister of education for 2 years and you can teach any school you want.. just must change the school every 2 years. and yes, at some point you need to take the test. but again i have no idea what you mean by 2nd test?!
And to be honest if you cannot have the right visa to stay and live in thailand (which looks like you are trying to stay here as long as you can) well.. im sorry but i dont think anyone can help you about this. Abusing the system is not the answer. Soon or later.. thats it.. the end
i think you need to be more clear with your visa situation.. and all of with this educational visa thing..
It is actually education visa studying thai that i was studying. Battled with the language and didn't progress far to do the 2nd test to get extensions for a year. All i am asking is advice.

Entered Thailand visa exempt in May 2021 hoping to teach, didn't work out. Wanted to stay and then got 2 x covid extensions. After that got education visa through language school. Thought i could extend for 12 months only to find out only valid for 8 months because i didn't do the 2nd ministry of education test because i didn't progress that far. Be that as it may my extension of stay expire on 25th aug, but language school said that i can get extension at immigration until 12th september because then visa expire. I intend to do that. What are visa options to stay? Can i get covid extension if i am education visa, but entered visa exempt? Please assist.
