    Child Modelling Agencies

    One called Candy Modelling in Petchaburi Road. My daughter has worked for them before. She was the model for the Epson printer advertisments.

    We have tried many agencies but Candy is one of the biggest agencies in Bkk. Anther one is called Chicks model. Many modelling agencies are in Town in Town area.

    Child Passport

    We would like to take our daughters back to UK for holiday in October and they both need new uk passport. I have some questions below... help appriciate !

    1. Is it compusary to have a biometric passport now in uk? I just don't know what form to fill in , C2 FORM or BMO FORM ??

    2. How do I get their photographs certified? We live in Thailand. Do I have to send the forms and my daughter's photos back to uk to be certified? By who ? since all my GP probable have moved on. I don't know many people in UK these day.

    3. Would it be possible to get photopraphs certified by their Thai doctor in bkk?

    Any one have applied for passort for their children lately please help.

    By the way my 5 years old has UK passport which will expire in December 2009. Is it ok to use it since she going back to her homeland. We will travel with AIR ASIA.

    When I was in England. I used to be able to get guarana in a box from Moss chemist. They were 3.5 - 4 pounds a box [ 24 in a box I think ] and they did work for me.

    I'm just wondering if anyone know where can I get them here in BKK. Thanks

    Kuta beach sounds cool. Any recommendation for budget hotel or guest house in Kuta? We are going there next month with two children. Is kuta beach is the right place for family with children? My husband would enjoy going to a bar with his mate and I would enjoy shoping. Maybe TV member would have other recommendation?

    Visa Run To Aranyaprathet [ Back Same Day ]

    My friend has 1 year non -0 visa. He has just found out today that even so he has 1 year visa. He still has to leave the country every 90 days. He is planing to go to aranyaprathet tomorrow and come back same day.

    Does he need to pay for Cambodian visa as well ? If so how much?

    or he just have to go through thai immigration and left the border quickly then come back without visiting cambodia immigration.

    Registering Birth At British Embassy

    Two years ago when my daughter was born. I rang UK embassy and ask about time limit to register my daughter birth. They said No time limit but usually people do it in first year of baby birth. If I were you I wouldn't leave it that long just in case they change the rule etc. [ shouldn't do thou ].

    First of all you have to ask your father in law the question.

    IS HE HAPPY?

    and if he is happy so that's it. That's the main thing. Do not worry about the baby. He or she will be fine. His mother and her family will look after him when your father in law pass away.

    Do not forget that now he has a new family to look after too. He can spend HIS money the way he likes as long as he spend it on his family.

    As for the grown up children. You must not expect anything from him. I'm not just saying it but if it did happen to my own father I would feel the same. The young half brother or sister will need the money more than me.

    2000 pounds a month seem a bit much but again it's his money.

    yes, why would she lie when everyone will know that thais could not possibly earn 30k in factory.

    BF - Darling, i do not want you work factory, and it was great the off chance i met you in that bar you have never been in before, but i must go back ferang land

    TG - you go back Ferang land, me go work factory 37 hours a day.. you want your teluk work like this... ping pong work bar better money.....

    BF - OH NO... dont go work bar, you would not like it... when i met you you had never even drunk a double samsong followed by a triple sambuca and washing it down with a chang beer, how could you possibly work in a bar...

    TG - so me go work poor poor factory and maybe die and cannot feed family in north Thailand

    BF - OK OK , you not work bar, and i pay your factory wage, how much again?

    First of all Congratulations !

    I have two little girls, Jasmine and Layla. We chose names that are easy enough for Thai people to be able to pronounce correctly. If for example you choose the name starting with V [ like Victor ] Thai will call them Wictor instead. My girls do not have Thai name at all but that's our choice. They both have British and Thai passports. We are now living in Thailand but think that it would be easier for them if they want to go and live in Uk later on in life.

    His name is Toi. He can speak a little English but he is a good driver and trustworthy.

    He used to work as a driver for Japanese businessman before [+ deliver goods for our cloth shop ]also worked on a till./ No worry about money.

    I hope your little one is doing well now. I went to have my baby at Thonburi 1 Hospital earlier this year. My baby was 2 weeks early. We had booked C-section package for 3 days 2 nights at a cost of 42,000 Baht. The baby had fluid in her lungs and difficulty breathing. She didn't need ICU. They took 5,000 Baht off from the package price and charge accordingly. I stayed for 3 days 2 nights. The baby stayed 5 days and 4 nights. The total cost was 70,000 Baht.
