That’s what I like to see.A good quick turnaround in receiving your Thailand Pass .Would you like to say what Hotel you used.Might use them myself being as they where quick in giving you confirmation numbers.

    Thanks

If I understand your post, I’ve used the Amaranth Suvarnabhumi hotel twice and they’re quick to provide the Thailand pass receipt/ information that qualifies for the Thailand pass after you provide insurance certificate and flight details, passport details etc.

Thailand pass in under 2 hours of applying (my 3rd pass).

    Can somebody help?

I've had two rejections so far for insurance and hotel accommodation but have not been given the reasons why. I have a booking for a Phuket hotel and confirmation letter but it does not include PCR testing. I have booked airport testing separately and have combined the receipt with the confirmation letter as a JPEG. Is this likely to work?

My AIG insurance is provided by Emirates and states covid cover for 390,000 GBP. Could it have been rejected as not being 50,000 USD?

I'd be grateful for any suggestions. I've tried emailing TP support, my hotel and tried calling the helplines all without success.

I'm due to fly 7 December but rapidly loosing all hope!

I included a taxi receipt and pickup details.

Does your emirates insurance specifically include your name on the cover note you’re uploading?

Has anyone been able to get a Thailand Pass using an I phone or I pad? Pics of any docs would be jpeg.

Yes I’ve successfully applied and received several Thailand passes using an old iPad.

Took a photo of my passport page and screenshots of other documents and cropped them.

You can even combine documents easily.

  4. I’ve had so many problems with the once decent airline this year including having to postpone a paid for flight because they were too busy to answer the phone lines  or reply to my emails.

The problem? They confused themselves and staff gave poor advice on which flights were eligible to take tourists to Phuket and much much more.

I rebooked with another Middle Eastern airline (72 hour rt-pcr test instead of 48 hours) and still have the “paid for” flight which I will begrudgingly have to use next year.

I want you to read the page when you first sign in to apply Thailand Pass, you have to click that you have read and acknowledged, understood the information provided by Thai government regarding Thailand Pass. The page is: Thailand Pass Registration System (for air travel only) (consular.go.th)

Everyone has to read that page before start applying. So in this page, it clearly outlined as below:

    6. For the Alternaitve Quarantine scheme:

6.1 I shall undertake two RT-PCR tests as required by the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand.

6.2 I am aware that I must stay at my reserved accommodation only and shall strictly comply with all public health measures during my stay in the Alternative Quarantine for 10 days.

6.3 Should I stay in the Alternative Quarantine less than 10 days, I will not leave Alternaitve Quarantine unless for the sole purpose of travelling out of Thailand.

6.4 Once I have stayed in the Alternaitve Quarantine for more than 10 days, I am permitted to travel to other provinces in Thailand.

I certify that all the information declared above is true to my knowledge and give consent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand to collect my personal information in order to coordinate with the concerned agencies for the purpose of screening and facilitating my travel to Thailand.

I declare that I have understood all that is stated above and shall strictly abide by them, and shall comply with the provisions under relevant Regulations issued under Section 9 of the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situations B.E. 2548 (2005) and any other disease prevention measures prescribed by the Government of Thailand, acknowledging that failure of such compliance may lead to consequences and penalties under the laws and regulations of Thailand.

You have signed the declaration (A VERY LEGAL DOCUMENT) that you will follow the rule before applying. You made it clear to Thailand government that once you applied AQ, you will follow the AQ procurement outlined in this agreement between you and Thailand government. You also acknowledged that failure of such compliance may lead to consequences and penalties under the laws and regulations of Thailand.

So please think twice before you decide to commit AQ fraud or preaching others to do the same. It is evidently many people here do not read this page when they sign up to Thailand Pass and do not understand the meaning of fraud. And some here do not understand there is consequences even though Thailand government told you in black and white language it has consequences and penalties if you do not keep your side of bargain.

Several people here are now in transit using this method so let’s see how they fare.

Agreed a discussion in a bar the other evening “coffee bar” you understand on this very subject, gave me the impression many uninsured Falang lives in fear on this very subject.

Thai gvmnt you are missing an opportunity, if Falang are chased out the pensions stop coming in, so why not take say 2500 a month from those willing to pay, i for one would jump at the chance at 72 knowing that it’s this or nothing.

500 million Chinese and Indians would also jump at that chance.

Still want to live the dream here?

If flying internally with air asia after arriving be prepared for a shock .

My mate wants to come and see his wife and kid up north and looked at flight from Bkk to roi et with air asia after 1 night in Bkk waiting on test .
There is no hold luggage allowed and only 7kg carry on allowed. So now he is having the hassle of getting his bags sent while he gets a flight .

I’ve 20kgs hold luggage and 7kgs carry on included in my ticket price. An extra 25kgs is 200 baht if prebooked.

Log in, go to manage booking and is straightforward, meals, seating, extra baggage etc.

Flying from Phuket to Udon Thani.

Great, just to be clear... you just uploaded the full vaccine sheet (both qrs) in all four windows ?

    - I'm worried that when I generate a new covid travell pass on nhs it overrides my old one.. i've got about 5 now, all different qr codes...

    Yes as i stated.

I had the API error on the 1st November, received the confirmation email on the 2nd November but no QR code yet.

I’ll wait see what happens after 7 days as everyone else will, hoping they give feedback regarding which parts they don’t like, not holding my breath.

So Richards method it is, along with a bundle of paperwork COE style. As I’ve mentioned previously I do have a couple weeks.

One certainty, everything will change by the time I fly, hopefully for the better.

Yesterday booked my booster jab (pfizer after 2 AZ) and got the jab 30 minutes later.

I asked the nurse how long it would be for the jab to appear on any certificate - she said about 3 weeks. But as you cannot fly for 14 days after jab, I'll wait fir a new certificate. (though I guess I could have used the Feb and April as 1st and 2nd)

Now comes the question, does you uploading to TP have to be your first and 2nd jab data, or your 2nd and 3rd count now as 1st and second since they are more recent than the first ?

Hopefully this balls up will be smoother in 3-4 weeks

The application asks for 1st and 2nd vaccinations so I’d go with that, eventually you’d expect the booster jabs to be included all in a single QR code.

  10. So, I’ve just used Richards method, instant code sent but scanning it only gives my arrival date and a bunch of text, no “valid” remark.

Im a UK applicant and inserted the same vaccination document in all 4 windows.

This was my 3rd application, the previous application gave me the 7 day wait (4 days already)

Ive still got a couple weeks till flying but stressed as I’ve rebooked dates already due to COE hiccups.

Thanks to Richard,Salerno and many more that are contributing and helping us in this pitiful situation.

In the same way you are clogging up this thread ?

A Plan B is essential for those who need to travel soon and have not yet received their Thailand Pass approval.

Trial and error (by many who have offered their information) has helped many receive their Thailand Pass approval / QR code - meanwhile your advice to be patient, or book flight later, or apply 30 days in advance is utterly useless for many for a multitude of reasons.

The best Plan B is most definitely doing the ‘Alternative Quarantine’ option and at least ensuring entry into Thailand with all the correct paperwork - the more people who have this solution the greater the chance authorities will turn a blind eye to the ‘little mistake’ of selecting the wrong tab (while submitting exactly the same documentation).

Note: between the two tabs [Exemption from Quarantine (Test and Go)] and [Alternative Quarantine] there is no difference at all in layout, questions or documents required / submitted.

Appreciating your efforts Richard and am tempted to use your method BUT this involves ticking the box agreeing to 10 days plus 2 tests.

Can we be sure “common sense” will prevail based on the fact we are many?

im still waiting.... fly on the 11th so not really worried as such but just like to be organised

had my email conformation yesterday at 8.55am uk time so getting on for 24h in the system now and nothing.

can see this going down to the 11th hour at this rate.

fyi i do know someone who was due to fly yesterday, no pass arrived, he went anyway, got all the way to thailand and told them the issues at the arrival gate, they fast tracked him in ????

More details of this risky journey would be interesting. I’m imagining 100s faced with this decision.
