    This Black Hawk was probably a write-off before the road collision. The second Royal Thai Army Black Hawk crash since the type entered service in Thailand in late 2002. The first crash in around 2005 was fatal. Overall, not a bad safety record for the Black Hawk squadron. 15 (now 14?) examples of this type in service, with another 9 ex US Army UH-60s on order.
