Starting 27 November 2021 Due to the recent detection of the new COVID-19 variant "OMRICON" in Africa, the Center for COVID 19 Situation Administration calls for new entry regulations for travelers from the region as follows: 1. The issuance of Thailand Pass for travelers from the following 8 countries will be temporarily suspended. In case of urgency, please contact the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria or the Thai mission in your area of residence. 2. The issuance of Thailand Pass for travelers from other countries will be limited to the 14-day AQ formality. 3. Thai nationals traveling from the above categories please contact the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria or in your country of residence for assistance. List of Countries 1) Botswana 2) Eswatini 3) Lesotho 4) Malawi 5) Mozambique 6) Namibia 7) South Africa 8) Zimbabwe -- ประกาศ ด่วนที่สุด ! เริ่มต้นวันที่ 27 พฤศจิกายน 2564 ตามที่องค์การอนามัยโลกได้ตรวจพบไวรัส COVID-19 กลายพันธุ์ชนิดใหม่ OMICRON ในแอฟริกา นั้น ศูนย์บริหารสถานการณ์แพร่ระบาดของโรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 (ศบค.) ได้กำหนดมาตรการในการเดินทางเข้าราชอาณาจักร สำหรับผู้ที่เดินทางมาจากประเทศในภูมิภาคดังกล่าว ดังนี้ 1. ระบบ Thailand Pass จะระงับการลงทะเบียนชั่วคราวสำหรับผู้ที่เดินทางมาจาก 8 ประเทศ (ตามรายชื่อด้านล่าง) หากมีความจำเป็นเร่งด่วนที่จะต้องเดินทางเข้าประเทศไทย กรุณาติดต่อสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงพริทอเรีย หรือ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต/สถานกงสุลใหญ่ไทย ในพื้นที่ที่ท่านพำนัก 2. สำหรับประเทศอื่นๆ ในภูมิภาคแอฟริกา (นอกเหนือจากในรายชื่อ 8 ประเทศ) ระบบ Thailand Pass จะรับการลงทะเบียนและอนุมัติการเดินทางเข้าราชอาณาจักร เฉพาะในรูปแบบ Alternative Quarantine (AQ) เท่านั้น โดยจะต้องถูกกักตัว 14 วัน โดยผู้เดินทางรับผิดชอบค่าใช้จ่ายเอง 3. บุคคลสัญชาติไทยที่เดินทางจากประเทศใน 2 กรณีข้างต้น กรุณาติดต่อขอรับคำแนะนำจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงพริทอเรีย หรือ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต/สถานกงสุลใหญ่ไทย ในประเทศที่ท่านพำนัก รายชื่อประเทศ 1) บอตสวานา (Botswana) 2) เอสวาตินี (Eswatini) 3) เลโซโท (Lesotho) 4) มาลาวี (Malawi) 5) โมซัมบิก (Mozambique) 6) นามิเบีย (Namibia) 7) แอฟริกาใต้ (South Africa) 8) ซิมบับเว (Zimbabwe)
