Currently on Koh Phangan, just had my covid extension refused " No Way", immigration there very very tough, ended up with 60 day covid ext, 8,000 baht through local agent. 14/2- 14/4. Been offered 12 month business visa for 50,000, next option. 28 years old, coming off 60 day covid, 12 month volunteer previous to that. Anyone with Volunteer in passport- Red flag to immigration.

Hi , went to Koh Phangan Immigration on 4/2 to check my situation, they told me ok for another 60 day covid, went back today, everything changed during the week, no covid extension, my visa runs out Monday 14/2. Local agent wants 17,500 to arrange another 60 day covid. Anyone else same problem, any better solutions...

Hi, i entered Thailand on a 60 day TR visa, extended 30 days then Volunteer visa for 15 months, my last visa through agent was Covid 60 day extension, next visa due 20/2. Will i have a problem, just concerned with number of guys saying they will not be guaranteed another Covid 60 days.

Yes 1,900 included, guess i already knew the answer, just needed a push, they quoted me 7,500 last week, now this week gone to 12,000. Problem is once you go down Agent track, difficult to reverse. But better to have the security than being in limbo. Thanks for your reply.

Thanks Joe, that seems to be the stickler, trying to find a way to cancel volunteer visa, then apply myself for 60 day covid. Not sure if i can do without agents help.

Hi, i am coming off agent organised 12 month Volunteer visa December 22nd, my agent telling me Volunteer not avaialble and wants 12,000 baht to arrange 60 day covid extension. Says immigration toughening. Anyone have similar experience or other options.
